The-Cassette

Discover music through people, not algorithms. The Cassette is a quiet, chronological curation network for sharing songs with short notes and direct links to listen. Share a track, add an optional short note, and build a personal archive of music you care about. Follow people whose taste you trust, browse a chronological feed, or discover recommendations globally without likes, comments, follower counts, or algorithmic ranking. The app is designed to get out of the way: discover a track, open it in your preferred music app, and listen there. Features: Share music links from Spotify, Apple Music, SoundCloud, TIDAL, YouTube Music, Bandcamp, and more Create short music recommendations with optional notes Browse a chronological feed with no likes, comments, or public metrics Follow curators and explore their music archive Search users, songs, and artists Open tracks directly in supported music apps or browser Light and dark mode support Account deletion available inside the app The Cassette is for people who still believe recommendations are better when they come from humans.
