Great but doesn’t work like the real show
Almost all normal aspects of the chase are there, the only one that isn’t there is the option to pass on a question in the 2 quick-fire rounds. I feel like it would be better if there were 3 options and a pass option, another reason why why I’m suggesting this is because the chaser is able to pass but the player isn’t.

Good for Single player but Vs mode doesn’t work
I’ve really enjoyed playing the single player mode, it’s fun and the graphics are very accurate to the show. Plus it’s really good that all 6 chasers are included. However, sadly the VS mode (which was my favourite part) no longer works (my WiFi is fine). Every time I try to connect two devices from the same network, this either doesn’t connect at all or just leaves me at the transferring data 0% section. Please fix this as this was my favourite part of the game.

Love this - as close to the show as possible
I watch The Chase on a regular basis so when the app came about, I wanted to play it. I’ll summarise what I like: the difficulty is set just right (also it reduces the chance of a chaser getting the question wrong so for more specialist topics, the pressure is on!), the design is and looks great and it is affordable as well. Not sure I could offer anything in terms of what would I do to improve it. I can only come up with a silly suggestion of a POV mode so it’s as if you’re standing in the studio.

BRADLEY WHERE ARE YOU
First of all, great game no expense take yourself to the limits but the selfie thing adds a background even when i stand against a plain one. We need more bradley and we need a team speak when they have the offers like the real show does and why doesn’t bradley make jokes and the crowd laugh i just need more bradley! Overall great game recommend trying if your bored with some money just take ypurself to the limits!

Bradley nicked my money!
I love this game. I’m a bit obsessed with The Chase on telly so didn’t hesitate to hit the buy button when I found it in the App Store. And I’m glad there are no annoying adverts or ‘freemium’ model here. I haven’t bought the extra question packs yet but I probably will. I’ve spent all afternoon playing and beat two Chasers, winning £48,000 and then £6,000 but the leaderboard has only registered my first win. Oi! Where’s my £6,000 gone? If this keeps happening then it’s going to get really annoying as I’d like to keep track of my achievements and my position on the leaderboard. Also, I noticed that the app hasn’t been updated for a year. Perhaps it’s time to revisit the app ITV Studios, give it a dusting off?

Annoying Crashes
Hi, whilst I agree with the majority of others reviewers this is a fun and enjoyable game the whole family can participate in, the fact it can often crash is hugely annoying as the entire game needs to be restarted. Now an occasional glitch you you could excuse but when this happens 5+ times it somewhat removes the fun. Having reviewed the FAQs I can confirm Wi-Fi signal is not the cause of the issue as we are often in the same router as the Wi-Fi and no other devices struggle with a weak signal. Hope this little gremlins can be smoothed out as it’s been several months since the last update was released.

Brilliant Game
Having an absolute tonne of fun with this game, closely resembles the show and is true to its nature. Would highly recommend for its price if you’re a Chase enthusiast. Only one point I would pick up on though is about the final chase - you can’t (as of this review being written) choose Set A or Set B questions, but apart from that it’s a true simulation. Just beat The Menace in a head to head battle, off to play some more!! Thank you Barnstorm Games :)

Questions more difficult than on the show
I’m a fan of the show and I bought this game as I thought it’d be good. It is good, but the questions are impossible to answer for someone who’s on their twenties or even in their thirties. I bought the whole pack and spent £4 in all, but I do wish I can take that back. I thought by buying the other packs that I may be better. I am better in some of the packs and can get £5,000 in the cash builder, but come to against the chasers and the questions are difficult and I lose. I never seem to make it to the final round (this is on easy).
I feel like this game and the questions are primarily aimed at the older generation. The questions are much more harder than on the actual show and it’s a shame because the game has potential

Brilliant app!
This is one of the best apps out there. No, or extremely little, ads (and if one does pop up it will be for another quiz app you’ll also love!), no bugs, never crashes, gazillions of questions, etc.
I have a few feature requests...
1. Simply set A and set B in the final chase. Not very important because in all fairness it doesn’t make the slightest difference.
2. The ability to be the chaser, but not in vs mode. i.e. you don’t have anyone to play with, but you want to be the chaser for a change so you play against an AI contestant.
3. Ability to connect multiple devices in vs mode, so you don’t have to cram around one device while the chaser gets one all to them self!

Great App with very few flaws
You really don’t need to buy the extra packs because the general section has more than enough questions with 4,500 written over 2 years ago. That could well have changed by now. The chasers are well balanced for the difficulty but can’t see much difference in standard as the description says will perform to tv standard. It’s pretty much like the exact tv show and is great if you want to have a simulation of the show without the questions repeating for many many rounds.

It’s a great app but now Darragh Ennis needs to be added
Today and last night I was playing this game and I did the coolest performance on the cash builder round ever because I earned £16,000 in the cash builder round today and last night I scored £15,000 in the cash builder round but right now there is a brand new chaser called Darragh Ennis and he made his appearance as a chaser on today’s episode of The Chase so I think it will be a great idea if you can add Darragh Ennis onto the app so the way that we can all face up against him

Don’t write reviews but felt compelled
This is honestly the best game I have had. I NEVER buy games and was very hesitant to buy this one as I don’t normally spend money on things like phone games. However after hearing my family had downloaded and purchased and there is an option to play as a team j was sold! So many times my family and I have played along with the TV but now we actually have the chance to play for real! And even be a chaser!!!!! You will not regret purchasing. P.s the chase should deffo sponsor this review lol

This game has crushed my very soul
The general questions seem so ridiculously specific. The tv show has questions that seem a lot easier and in the area of general trivia. The app on the other hand will question my knowledge of Roman road routes. Pretty sure they tarmaced them in the 80s. Cheryl on the tv show usually gets asked what colour an orange is...
The chasers images cause me a huge level of discomfort. The last thing I need to see after losing the final chase is the Governess smirking at me like I’m an extra sausage she found under her dinner plate.
And don’t get me started on Bradley! Not only does he accuse me of guesswork but his voice shivers me to the bone. I have started to hear his condescending voice in the middle of the night, waking me from my dreams. I can’t look at anyone in the eye anymore as all I can hear are his false words of encouragement. It’s destroyed my relationship, worklife and now my friends won’t let me eat sausages anymore.
On the other hand, the presentation and effects are quite good.

Great Game but need more Bradley
Love this game and it’s true to the tv program. I don’t think paying £1.99 is a large sum for the app and to buy the extra Questions if it was a free app you would have limited questions and spend extra buying a pack of questions anyway.
But just as Bradley makes the show and as someone else commented Bradley would be better if he could read the questions as the few voices available are computerised.
The games is missing the choice of set A or B questions in the final round.
It would be nice to be able to connect upto 5 devices in the vs mode so you can play with your friends instead of having 4 of you crowd round one device and rush to pass it round when it’s your go. It also makes it hard to do the final round. You could include buzzers so you can answer the questions as individuals.
Have you thought of having an optional cheat option that you could use in the rounds but only once. This could be reveal answer or 50/50. If you had more devices connected this cheat could be ask the other players.

Thanks for the great review! Sadly, with so many thousands of questions, it simply isn't possible for Bradley to read them all out. Your other suggestions have been passed on to the team.
Overall really entertaining
The app is extremely entertaining, but the fact of the matter is you buy the app and then have to purchase the packs. This maybe the worst factor however the final issue is Bradley Walsh doesn’t read the questions which would make it a lot easier but I understand the issues with doing this. Anyway we are paying so I did expect that, don’t let these negatives prevent you from purchasing the app though because it is still good fun, especially if you love the chase!

Good but could improve
Hello developers I call myself jimbob242 and I think that this game could go a long way with more updates. But there are some things you could add but before I start I would like to say that you have been very good in listening to everyone’s comment and writing back to them so I am hoping you write back to mine. So one thing you could add is a list of a lot of names which Bradley could say. That would make players feel more in the game. Thanks for the feedback. Unfortunately, it's not viable to have some players' names read out, as it would be odd for Bradley to read some out but not others. We've done our best to match the backgrounds to those on the show, but for technical reasons, it isn't possible for them to be identical in all cases.
The Chase
Great fun just like the real thing. One thing though, you have to read the questions really fast as well as the selection of answers. Just have to really focus. Pleased I bought it. Well worth the money.
Following on from this it is fantastic with the voice asking questions brilliant. I don’t know how you do the whole thing you are so clever. Thank you. And I’ve just beaten the chaser for £34,000 on hard questions!!!!’

I really like this app and feel it was worth the £2.
However, I was disappointed by a few things - the first being that you have to pay an extra £2 to unlock all the question categories which was very disappointing. I can also remember a lot of the questions from the show which takes the fun out of it a bit (but realistically not sure there’s anything you can do about that!). I love that Bradley’s voice is in it, although I feel like it could be slightly better edited in places. I would also like if The Chaser’s behaviour was slightly more randomised and unpredictable.
Overall a really fun, well made app that could use some improving, but is still worth your time. It’s so cool getting to experience a bit of what it’s like to be on the show, and makes me have a lot more sympathy for the contestants!!

Thank you for the feedback. We're sorry you're disappointed about having to pay for the question packs. However, money raised from the packs does help fund development, including 1,000 easy questions we recently added for free to the main game.
Fantastic game
Just like watching it on TV but without Bradley Walsh answering the questions for you, which is the only fault about this game as you have to read the questions out yourself and be quick to the answer before the timer runs out which can be quite a pain.
Other than that the game is good and would be a great update to have Bradley Walsh speak out the questions, to make it easier for you to answer the questions more quickly in the given amount of time.
