Logging in is impossible with update. Forgot password goes nowhere.
Garbage now
This app used to be great but they change the interface and definitely de-funded it. Doesn’t work on a web browser, only mobile app. And this year right around Christmas it stops working altogether with network errors and issues logging on.

Don’t like the changes. We used to have the ability to enter free text items but now you have to use a URL or search internet lost ability to enter free text for items.
What happened?
This was a pretty good app. Before, the only complaint I had was that none of the items carried over from one year to the next. Now there are several problems. Yes, the previous year’s stuff is archived, but you can’t delete anything from the archive. Before, you could just write a suggestion, like, “slippers”, or “games”, etc. Now, the only thing it allows is URLs from websites. How am I supposed to put something from Etsy on there?

Still needs work
Missing features that were available on the previous version. Unable to add a gift without a url. On the previous version we were able to add an item with a picture and our own description - important for things like gift cards or when the url doesn’t work (this happens frequently). Also when you edit an item, the edits don’t save, despite “saving” them. The app is a great idea but needs work. I have a love-hate relationship with it right now. Since the update, we’ve resorted to group texting again and it always goes like this: “trying to add this to the Christmas list app, but it won’t let me, so here’s the link”. There’s no point in having the app if this is what we resort to.

Doesn’t work great anymore
I’ve been using this app for years and loved it, but unfortunately it’s no longer working properly. I can’t use it on my computer anymore—only on my phone. Copying and pasting links from other websites doesn’t work reliably; it usually only works with Amazon, and even then I had to text the link to myself to get it to work.
We’ve relied on this app for years, but sadly, we’ll have to discontinue using it. I tried reaching out to the developers because it was such a great tool, but received no response. From what I can see on their Instagram, it doesn’t look like the app is being actively maintained anymore. Really a bummer, as it used to be so convenient.

Loved this app for so many years, but due to its inconsistency we as a family moved over to giftster. Can’t even log in.
Used to love it! Now it’s not as easy to use though…
As our family got older and expanded, we needed a way to track who was buying what gifts for people to reduce the amount of duplication that happened. This app was exactly what we needed. Initially. One of the recent updates however removed the option to manually add items to a list. Now our only option is to add an item using a web link (which often errors out), or to search using their search feature built in to the app (but this shows prices in USD, not helpful for us Canadians). I would give this app a 5* rating if it went back to how it was. It used to be much more user friendly. Now it’s just frustrating.

Broken app
I wanted to try a few Xmas list apps. I created an account, but it won’t even let me log in.
Or give me an error message about why.
It just reloads the log-in screen.

Good but needs work
Used it for the past few years but it definitely needs an update it barely adds on images anymore and images uploaded never show up and uploading your list items take forever now
Doesn’t Open
Can’t log into the site or app. I’ve restarted, uninstalled, used a different browser. Nothing. So frustrated!!!
Needs improvement
Great app except you can’t really edit pictures or lists, like
Moving items, there’s not enough editing, you have to make a whole new one you cannot delete the one you have or remove the items from one list to another otherwise a great app, but from what I can see it hasn’t been updated in four years so this is a waste of time

Holiday Gift Giving
Makes gift giving easier to manage and navigate when it is set up for family members to share the gifts they want and then manages when bought #claimed so no duplicates are purchased. Easy to manage!
Leave my lists for the next year
My whole family has used this list for several years and it is very intuitive and easy to use. But two BIG questions are: Why the heck can’t our lists be left alone? Why do they have to be erased every year, only to start over? If something gets left unclaimed, it should stay on the list till the next year.

Inviting others and list sharing are non-intuitive. Development could benefit from a professional software tester and a user interface designer.

I found this website online. Signed up, created a Christmas list, and sent it out to family. Now when I go to login, it says my password is incorrect. I submit my email in the “Forgot my password” link and they said an email is on the way. I’ve done this no less than 20 times by now and no email has been sent to me. I tried using their chat bot to reach someone and it continues to say “We are away at the moment”. I tried to make a new login and the website glitches and tells me I didn’t enter anything in the text box when I did. When it does go through, it shows “creating your account” with a loading wheel on the screen that never ends. So not only can I not login to my account but I can’t even create a new one and there seems to be 0 people to contact about it. Horribly made website. I even downloaded the app to try to login there or reset my password from there and nothing.

Don’t bother
Don’t get this app. It will log you out of nowhere, and if you connected your Facebook, it won’t let you log back in even by inputting your Facebook password. There’s no way to contact the maker and if you ever forget your password, an email never gets sent to you to reset it.
Doesn’t work with Androids
Would love to use this app this year but it hasn’t been updated for Androids so we can’t use it.
