Bug with conversations
Overall a pretty good app. However, if I stay in the app too long or if I go to another app and come back the icon to go into conversations/messages disappears. I have to completely close the app out and restart it to get it to come back.
Disappointing
I’m not sure what happened to these folks, but they no longer reply to any of our emails. Leaving a review here in hopes of getting someone’s attention. We’ve been sorely disappointed with subsplash and cannot recommend them. We’ve wasted hundreds of dollars on their service and have nothing to show for it.

BEWARE!
Stay away from Subsplash! Their customer service is extremely difficult to reach and issues take literally MONTHS to resolve once you are able to reach them!
Rubbish app
Kept trying to say my local church was somewhere in America! Then the app refused to work when I put my location in (UK)
Stay away from SubSplash Church & Messaging App!
After many months of our church using their app and the messaging features, I cannot recommend their services any longer. Their app consistent doesn’t work, and our people our various small groups do not receive push notifications for their leaders and members rendering these features useless. When members forget their passwords to the app and submit a forgotten password request to be sent to their email address, nothing shows up. SubSplash’s customer service and development team is lacking and does not keep up with what their sales teams promise. Please do better SubSplash or be more honest and upfront about your platform’s capabilities.

Subsplash
What is Sub Splash and why is it not understandable? I'm not a ROCKET SCIENTIST BUT SUB SUBSPLASH IS WHAT??? Why doesn't someone explain what it is? Or why it is used??? I give up?
Good app with one major flaw
I love that this app creates a very solid framework that allow churches reach out to their congregation via the Internet with little effort. There are many great features to alert their members to events coming up, allow for financing giving and links to sermons. However, I was really excited about the Notes section that would allow me to electronically file my notes and keep them for as long as I wanted. However, the notes section is awful. Very rarely does it work correctly. I will spend an entire sermon taking notes and it will never synchronize, so I will lose all of my notes for that day! I have started taking my notes in my Notes section on my iPhone and then try to copy them over later in the week. This still only works half of the time. I would suggest that there is an option to save the notes locally on your phone or create a button that forces the notes to sync, instead of just backing out of the notes and hope that it synchronize. I have used this same app for two different churches and they both do the same thing, so it’s related to the developer and not the church.

Great app
What a Great App
I was just thinking about creating an app for our church and somehow stumbled upon you. Although my church is not on the app yet, I have pushed to get it on there. Overall it’s great but I do wish there was a way to change my home church. I have a second church that I use to visit when I wasn’t volunteering at my home church and would love to be able to have my church when it becomes apart of the app to be my home church and the other to be my second church. Thanks for this as it is much needed in the COVID era.

It only had Protestant churches
I came on the app looking for my church, and it had 0 Catholic Churches! It only had Protestant and others! Literally no catholic!

Thank you for sharing your concern! The Church App is home to a number of Catholic churches. If you are searching by location, it’s possible that there aren’t any Catholic churches in The Church App in that area. However, if you clear the location field and enter “Catholic” in the church search, you can see some of the Catholic churches using The Church App.
Great, but one thing is needed...
I love the The Church App but I would love it even more if you could make it so once a message or sermon has been listened to it would be marked in some way. I use the Chuck Smith app which has over 3600 teachings and it's difficult to keep track of which ones I've already heard.

Love that I can find churches near me easily and check out the sermons and online community.

For someone who uses multiple church and ministry apps to listen to sermons and other content, this is exactly what I need! Now, I have one app I need to stay connected instead of 20! Pairing this great experience with the content that’s produced by some of the most noteworthy names in church will make this a win for everyone!
