Love the app
I grew up listening to WCPE and now that I have my own children I’ve started listening again as a way to set my environment up for my day and create a wonderful culture of classical music for my own children and home.
WCPE Cuts my Screentime!
When I connect my WCPE radio app to my speaker, sometimes the speaker will cut out if I switch to anything else. So i just put my phone down and listen and do my work. With great sections, great hosts, and only fundraising ads, it is a refreshing thing to listen to good old fashioned radio for a change.

It’s Very Simple
If you love classical music you will love this station. I do both.
Midwest Love
An internet friend of mine mentioned this on his blog and I’ve been on it everyday since. This is how all classical stations used to operate. Such a refreshing change
Thanks for the App
It so much easier to listen through the mobile device! You may even rate the music played and see album information. Fantastic!
Beautiful Classical Music
Seattle region and desperate for a station publicly supported, I somehow found this North Carolina gem🙏🏼 Wonderful and educational announcers, highly recommended!!!
You bet 5 Stars!🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Fabulous!
My only regret is that I didn’t know about WCPE until a few days ago. Streaming The Classical Station is beauty in a worldly abyss of noise, grandstanding, monetizing, fear, division, and nonsense.
It’s great. DO IT !!! Ahhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!
Moved out of NC, but I love listening to this whenever. The app is great, the commentators are all great, it’s just the marches that I still don’t like. But whatever, the app is awesome to have
Content is the best
The content and curation are top notch, however I give the app 4 stars because the sound quality is lower than other similar apps, if this is fixed, it’s a straight 5 stars.
I love the Classical Station!
Just the right mixture of famous and not, and the announcers are soothing and easy to listen to. And the best part these days is that there isn’t any news.
Great classics; easy access
If you love classical music, or want to sample it to see how you like it, this station is a great choice. And the content is presented by real, live announcers. Check it out!
Love this Station!!!
I grew up listening to the station on the radio because that is what my mom would have on. Now, as an adult, I’ll find myself missing the station. I keep going back to it. The app is great- bc now I don't need a radio to listen. The music selection is great and thoughtful, and the presenters are very informative and not annoying- something other radio stations fall short of. This is a gem of a station- I hope they keep up the good work!

WCPE checks all the boxes for me
I have listened to WCPE for 25 years and it has given me many wonderful musical experiences. The programming is varied and has introduced me to music I didn’t know while also providing music that I have loved for decades.
Wonderful Music
I grew up listening to this station and I’m so glad it’s available everywhere via the app. Can’t recommend it enough.
Great station, wonky app
Love your station and music programming, but the app is very fussy. Often freezes up and then starts and stops. I’ve tried removing it, restarting phone, then reinstalling (per station’s suggestion), but that didn’t do much. Hope for better results going forward…
The best classical station I’ve ever listened to
24-hours of classical programming with live DJs the whole time.
Amazing and accessible

Wonderful station
This app is easy to use, simple and straightforward. The station is excellent. Our local public radio station is now primarily news programs and talk shows. I have missed having curated, beautiful music available anytime. Thank you!
Thanks classic station
Lovely collection and intelligent arranging. I will become a contributor.
wonderful station
just have to say you can find stations like this in the most unexpected places
Top notch station!
Loved listening to WCPE when I was an undergrad at Duke University in the mid-80s and it is a real treat to be able to listen again whenever I want.
