A perfect game
Response from developer
Sorry that’s a bug! Should be fixed now!
Has potential
The game is vertical but has a horizontal layout… I have to keep scrolling left and right and can never see the full board. It’s like the game was made horizontal, but then they just give you a vertical window of it.
There were some annoyances too. Like me having to pick a worker and then a task every time when there’s a choice. Made me want to sell my starter unit and just have one of each type because why can’t it just send best or whichever so I don’t have to tap twice each time?
But yeah. Couldn’t get over the layout.
Response from developer
Will look to see if we can support horizontal layout. Challenge is it’s possible you’d have to scroll down then on an iPhone. As for the double tap can you email us more detail? The manager once unlocked or using the auto-delegate should do what you’re expecting. Apologies!

Simple and fun
There are sometimes issues with saving my progress locally. Also please add cloud saves.
Response from developer
Thanks for the honest review! Will look into better iPad support. Cloud saves SHOULD work but will check again! We pushed a bug fix and a change to assignments yesterday we hope helps with overall game feel. Thanks again!

Best game on the App Store
What I enjoy most is how every decision matters without ever feeling stressful.
Hiring staff, choosing which stories to chase, and watching ideas move across the board into finished articles is strangely relaxing and addictive. The game respects your time too it never bombards you with interruptions or cheap gimmicks, it just lets the core gameplay loop shine.
The 80s vibe is spot on too. The references to films, music and games are fun without being overdone, and the whole presentation has a really nice, coherent style. Huge credit to the devs: you can tell a lot of care went into the design, pacing and little details. It feels like a proper passion project, and it really shows in how polished and enjoyable the whole experience is.
Accidentally bought it

Managing editor?
Response from developer
Hiring the Managing Editor is currently a trade off in quality. They don't necessarily hire the best employee for the job, but rather the first one that's available. Employees that have levelled up often take priority. A worker is only eligible for a column they have the skill for. An edit-only employee gets nothing whenever the Editing column is empty, even if Briefs is overflowing. Their one lane is dry, so they "never" get picked during those stretches. Would it be a better experience if we adjusted these variables? Thanks for trying the game!
