Stuck on puzzles
If I do the puzzles, I can’t get back to the main menu. Leaving and clicking the App again just brings me back to the puzzle page. I can’t access today’s paper of the latest news. Most annoying!
Apparently after decades of paying full subscriptions, I am now not a ‘premium’ subscriber??
Have lost faith in the CM. As a regional subscriber I am being treated like a second class citizen. It is now more like a LNP big brother publication preventing free speech from regional queenslanders, than an independent newspaper dealing with facts that require sensible debate.

When I open up my personal selections the details on each section are mostly outdated, days old news often repeated in other sections… hardly updated to current status. Despite selecting my own suburb as Local it often covers items from other States. Similarly in the Sports sections which rarely cover what is expected - for instance Rugby is selected but contains so much NRL news; other examples are with the GPS section containing anything but, and more often than not what is shown is months out of date! Overall very poor management.

Subscription just stopped working
I updated to the latest version of the app. It is showing me logged in, but any time I try to open a story it is reverting to the subscription page, with no option to simply log in.

For weeks now the app has been playing up when scrolling down. It’s as if the pop ups are affecting the loading. Often just hangs
Poor Standard
I have been reading the CM all my adult life but have just had enough! The stories are all negative and you publish rubbish comments. You say they are being edited but obviously not when you see the poor spelling et. Also negativity is taking over our world. Please lift your game or I will be cancelling my subscription!!

Bloated pages
Every screen is now covered in oversized pictures and / or oversized print for headlines. We now have to scroll more than ever to find items of interest.
Used to be good - Now not so much
Recently the quality of games has become unreliable ( Sat 4/7/26 Chasers puzzle simply not there for example). Plus the number of articles that obviously no one proofreads is a definite sign of dumbing down of journalists.

Finally the app has reached 21st century standards! I like the puzzles as much as the news… the most recent crossword puzzle is actually decent to use, and i like the other new puzzles too. Nice to see a more modern appearance for the news items.
TIME TO SAY GOODBYE
First they removed the comics, then they became an activist publication solely for the benefit of the SE corner of this great state at the expense of the Qld regions, and now they have completely ruined the puzzle section. Nah, it is not worth the money any more…. After many decades, it is time to move on I think.

Subscription 40 years … no more
Read the room CM. The demographic keeping you afloat are paying for digital that requires upgrades for devices we cannot access. The recent price increase will be the end of CM . Shame
Clunky app that the designers refuse to fix
This shoddy app is not fit for purpose. It expects the reader to stick to reading the news in one go, because if you so much as open another app, it will close the newspaper and require you to restart the process. This juvenile approach to navigation is a misfit in today’s multitasking world. The app creators are lazily milking the CM subscriber who is forced to use it as there are no other alternatives! I would give it ½ stars!

The courier mail
I am disgusted that I can no longer use the Courier Mail on my iPad because it is now does not have the capacity for this app.
There is nothing wrong with my iPad and now that in retirement I am expected to buy a new iPad for no real reason. What a waste of money and resources.

Very difficult to unsubscribe
Subscribed using the $1 for two month to see one article, though it would be easy to cancel but turns out you have to call them to cancel, it claims you can call on the weekend but you cannot, I think the idea of this is to get you to subscribe and forget about it, so they can take your money. I have waited 2 days and am still yet to be able to call them during working hours to unsubscribe DO NOT SUBSCRIBE IF YOU INTEND TO UNSUBSCRIBE

It’s rubbish!
I haven’t been able to get my recent Comments “My Activity” for SEVEN MONTHS, despite following all your advice and keeping the App version updated.
Seriously thinking of stopping my subscription. And much of the journalism is rubbish. Employ journalists with experience and a proper education.

General comments section
Would the Editor consider a general comments section, as comments are now for specific articles only. Need a separate section so comments can be made for general issues such as standard of reporting, which articles can comments be made on and the like.
Terrible to use
This is an incredibly annoying app. Given you are trying to read , it constantly refreshes itself.
Riddled with glitches
Deleted it and stopped my subscription. Continually stops sound on Apple Music with pop up ads. keeps logging me out and there’s a pop up about viewing recipe’s that’s stuck on the home page.
