Really good app

I can’t believe this is free it is way easier to manage than cs timer, and I love how it gives an average of a certain amount of solves. In less that an hour I went from averaging 13+ on 2x2 to sub-10. The only thing wrong about it is I doesn’t have notation for cubes like the skewb, pyraminx, and other cubes like that. But I love the alg of the day, it’s actually really good.

P.S, I think for beginners you should show that white is on top and green is in front for scrambles.

The best alg trainer on the App Store, but not perfect

There are plenty of great alg trainers on the web browser, but not on iOS. This is the best option I’ve found so far

If you use a different alg than recommended for a particular set, you can update it to your preference, and rotate the example image if you start with a different orientation. The app is smart enough to use the updated alg in is trainer, so the provided training scrambles are correct. This is awesome, it’s just as powerful as GAN’s trainer, way less janky, and it provides scrambles for you.

There are some improvements I’d love to see:
- Allow users to add multiple algs per case, so we can train different AUFs or different orientations
- Allow users to add their own cases full-stop. These wouldn’t have images, but it would still be better than nothing
- Add edge stickers to the PLL example images, to make recognition easier (bars vs headlights)
- More training options, like tracking times and solves. So users can be presented with their worst cases more often
- allow users to create training sets. So I can pick 10 algs to focus on for the day. Let users pick from any of the provided algs, not just one set at a time
- way harder, but smart cube integration would be great

Good but……

It was an AMAZING app then they ruined it a wile ago one major this is they made it lock horizontally (Among others but this is my main pet-peev) for example when Im chilling on the couch I can’t get my phone to stay that way on my lap without sliding off, which takes away all the convince of a mobile app. I’d rather use my laptop and bring a big ahh charger.

absolutely horrible app

this app doesn’t stop the timer after tapping the screen and i’ve gotten zero good scrambles from it. i get a bad one every now and then but it’s every single scramble

The best app for speedcubers

I have tried each and every app on Rubik’s cubes, and this is by far the best one. The timer is awesome and tailored for Speedcubing, but my favorite part is the algorithm sets in this app. I appreciate how easy it is to find what you are looking for, and that the sequences are trustworthy. Additionally, having control of customizing sequences, adding notes, and many settings, adds a fine touch to this app. I’d like to thank the developer for including the free version of this app, and allowing it to be very similar to premium. I have only one suggestion: Keep adding more ideas for solving Rubik’s cubes! I’m looking forward to all of the future updates, bug fixes or otherwise!

App

Hey great app but would be cool if i could have it horizontal too so i can keep it on my iPad stand, thank You.

Great overall, but needs some things

The app is one of the best alg and timing apps. However, the graph gets hard to see after you do solves. I think that adding Ao5 and Ao12 and/or a zoom feature would make it 5 stars and maybe the best cube timing apps out there.

My rating (2)

Hi, when adding a solve manually, there’s no option to view or enter the scramble. The app shows a scramble only when using the built-in timer, but not when manually adding a time. I use a physical timer, so I need to see the scramble on the screen and then enter my result afterward.
Could you please add a feature that lets users manually input times directly at the scramble screen?

This would make it easier for users who solve with an external timer.
Thank you!

Amazing!!!!!

This app is incredible! I bought the pro upgrade for this app, and it is 100% worth the price. Amazing product. I needed an app that would help with the F2L method. This is a number 1 tool for it. I am speechless for how amazing this app is. Amazing job creator!

Espectacular

Todos los cuberos la necesitan, no se porque no tiene apoyo y el creador un genio, si quieres mejor as en la app le escribes y lo añade

Perfect

Truely great app. Has everything a cuber would need.

Great

This is an amazing app for somebody who doesn’t want to buy a real timer and write down all the stuff. It shows you all of your averages, and has really great stuff overall.

Great overall

This app is really great, it works well except for the “generate new scramble” by swiping in the cube layout, where after doing it a couple of times it messes up the timer start, which has to be pressed twice to work. It’s really annoying when trying to do casual solves without the timer. Maybe that could be a feature in itself: timerless mode

Great app

Very nice app, I learned all the 3x3 OLL and PLL thanks to this app. One piece of a feedback: for the 3x3 PLL, please update the images to show side patters instead of (or in addition to) the arrows. Because the recognition is usually based on finding the headlights and bars on the last layer skirt.

Ok

As a person who is trying to learn 4LLL I cannot shake the fact that you do not have 4LLL on the free version of practice and learn so please make 4LLL free for learning otherwise This app is great

9/10 Would Recommend

this app is AMAZING it works super well too the only reason it’s not 10/10 is because it doesn’t have 3x3 OH

Just a few problems but AMAZING

So when you go in to practice it shows you notations so you can get to the case but there is no way to get back so you are stuck on the screen that shows you how to solve it

Great, but one problem

Haven’t used the app, but did download it. It looks great, but I need to import my data from other timers.

Great app overall, but I have some questions/ideas for the developer

This is an excellent app overall, there are so many events that you can choose to time yourself on. Also, there are many algorithms on the free version of this app, which is also very useful. This is probably by far my favorite cubing app. |Questions for Developer| 1) The Pro version takes away ads, and it says it will also unlock thousands of algorithms. What are these algorithms for? Are they for different events? If so, can you list them? 2) (Suggestions) Maybe you could add more Roux algorithms? Once again, I am not sure what the Pro version unlocks, so I apologize if It is already there. 3) Maybe you could add algorithms for different events (Advanced Square-1, Skewb, Pyraminx, Megaminx?)

Nice

Its a good app. Can learn algs and can be used for solve times as well. Learnt most algs with this app. I recommend
