Fun adventure

Does it drive anyone else crazy that useful items (such as a screwdriver or knife) disappear after only one use? Still I really enjoyed the game, graphics and cut scenes were beautiful and the game allows players to โ€œtransportโ€ from one area to another without all the back-and-forth running around so often required.
I would have liked to use the gun more often, but all in all a good time

Excellent Game

Customizable settings, variety of inventive HOPs, beautiful graphics, long-playing, responsive interactive Hint button. All in all, a wonderful game!

Needs more of a challenge

This game was fun but not very challenging.

Glitchy

Have had to delete game 3 times due to it freezing up. Had to start from stretch . Not happy about that. I'm now trying this for the third time hope it works. Appears to be a good game but just can't play it all the way through because it keeps freezing.

Curio gets curious

Interesting travel and games. Keeps you thinking!

Funtabeulicious :)

Great game... Lots of fun. Worth the$

Almost

Plot fine, hidden objects good, art lovely, puzzles not so much. Those I found clumsy to manipulate.

Great

I'd recommend this game to anyone !!!!

Good Game

Kept me entertained. Would enjoy a sequel.

Fun entertainment!!!!!!

Great graphics and storyline. HOS have added layer to them so that they aren't the same and boring "read the list and find item". Mini games have new twist. Can't wait until the next.

By the way, I never did encounter the orange pop up that others did.

Fun Game and Interesting Story

I enjoyed playing this game and really liked the story line.

Curio Society

Overall, I liked the game. The story was kind of lame. However, the puzzles were fun. The coin room was a plus because the rewards were completely different than normal, and I did like the story that went with them.

The curio society:Eclipse Over Mesina

This is the first game I have not needed to use a hint! The game is so fun! The map works well, and when you touch things they actually move, birds sing, trees sway, very impressive. The storyline actually flows in a cohesive manner and you know why you're
doing stuff. Took a long time, but someone finally got it right! KUDOS!

Curio Society

The game was fun, but most of the mini games were aggravatingly hard. I know some people like a challenge, but I like mini games to be easy or medium difficulty.

The Curio Society: Eclipse over Mesina by LynxMinx

Dracyy, did you forget to mention the RAT on the little train? Remember forewarned is forearmed!
Note to KimTwilight: I just got a lovely email from the powers that be at Five BN Uk! They will be bringing out that new New York Mysteries game for iPad soon, and I also tried to convince them that we need more from them, and how much we love their games, so we'll see what happens!
Anyway, I loved this game! You could customize settings. The storyline was interesting. The graphics were bright and beautiful, first in Mesina and then in Egypt. The cut-scenes were literally electrifying. There were a lot of locations, and loading wasn't instantaneous but it was still quick. There was an excellent, and marked if so customized, teleport map to take you there. Inventory was labeled and there were plus items to assemble. Collectibles were limited to gargoyles and coins to furnish a relic room. The diary consisted of a dossier and notes but it was still easy to follow the story. You had neat gadgets to work with: an energy ball named Harry, a gargoyle blasting gun, and a suitcase in which you put evidence. You then solve a mini-game and receive a photo. When you match the photo to the location it reveals an item you need to progress. There was a lot of fun things to do, like making potions, helping others and fixing equipment. The HO scenes were varied, and you also had the option of playing match-3 instead. There were a lot of puzzles; most were rotational but there were others that were different and interesting. This game flowed very well and ran smoothly. Just don't click on that stupid round orange thing! The only reason I am deducting a star is for length; even with the bonus chapter I wish the game had been a bit longer! In any event this was a terrific game by Domini! I definitely would play a sequel.
Dream Team Elite, in the 4 years since I started the team, this genre has come a long way. It is so much more sophisticated now! I have been told by some BigFish execs that WE have a lot to do with it, and we must keep reviewing well! At first so many gamers debased us verbally and now they realize all the good things we have done. Our next goal is to get BigFish to insist on better quality assurance from the developers (especially since we no longer get free trials); why should people pay and be unable to play due to a fatal flaw? The other thing is that we need more than one new game a week! There are many developers out there so let BigFish give us more!
Everybody keep up the great work! To all reviewers: the better you review and the more thoroughly, the better this genre gets! I send mad props to KimTwilight for her fantastic, articulate reviews! I know more people are buying these games because of you!
Lynxie sends โค๏ธ๐Ÿ’‹๐Ÿ˜˜ to everybody who loves this genre as much as I do!

Four Thumbs Up!

See Sunshinesusie review.

Good game

I had no problems with the game. No orange pop up. Enjoyed it but I have to agree it is a little to short but still worth getting.

Orange pop up

Fortunately I have never seen the pop up. I m playing on my IPad. They must have fixed it. So far I love the game.

Frustrating

The first time I used the suitcase evidence sorter it worked fine. The second time the screen went dark and I had to "skip" the puzzle since I couldn't see it! The third time the screen went dark AND froze and I couldn't get it to work. Will ask for a refund

Great Game... Orange box = -*

I also had the orange box at the beginning. By yesterday evening, it was gone.
I really enjoyed this game, well worth the money. Graphics were good. Puzzles and hidden object were good, story line was a bit typical but fine...curious about continuity of story, I'll save that for last paragraph so it isn't a "spoiler".
I can not give five stars because of a few things, the Orange box. I too, just hit X in upper right corner of box. The other reason is the constant request for feedback. My feedback is, quit asking me to rate a game I'm still playing. I also dislike having the resume game screen every time I leave for a second. Even if it's to look at the guide.
(Just thinking about it makes me want to remove a star ๐Ÿ˜‘)

Spoiler: in the story, at the beginning, scientist released the "baddie" but, later on, this changes. Did I miss something?
