Das Konzept überzeugt: ein digitales Cryptex als Rätselrahmen, stimmungsvolle Da-Vinci-Ästhetik, viele Zimmer mit echtem Aha-Potential. Wer Knobeln mag, findet hier Momente, die wirklich Spaß machen.

Wenn da nicht drei gravierende Schwächen wären:

1. Die Steuerung sabotiert die eigene Lösung.
Die Rädchen des Cryptex reagieren unzuverlässig und ungenau. Wer die richtige Kombination kennt, dreht sie trotzdem mehrfach hin — weil das Programm erst bei einem nicht definierten Millimeter-Schwellenwert „erkennt”, was eingegeben wurde. Das ist kein Rätsel, das ist Feinmotorik gegen schlechtes UI-Design.

2. Manche Lösungen entbehren jeder nachvollziehbaren Logik.
Kombinatorik, visuelle Assoziation, Symbolik — alles legitime Rätselmechanismen. Was nicht akzeptabel ist: Lösungen, die ohne jeden ableitbaren Bezug schlicht nicht erschlossen werden können. Nicht schwer, nicht knifflig — sondern willkürlich. Ohne externe Walkthrough-Suche schlicht nicht lösbar.

3. Hinweise, die nicht hinweisen.
Wenn ein Hinweis-System angeboten wird, muss es das Richtige beschreiben — nicht eine Variante, die in eine andere Richtung führt als die erwartete Lösung. Das ist keine Hilfe, das ist zusätzliche Verwirrung.

Fazit: Eine Fünf-Sterne-Idee mit zu vielen Drei-Sterne-Momenten. Viele Rätsel sind wirklich phantastisch — andere gehören überarbeitet. Daher: die Hälfte der Punkte.

Loving all the puzzles

After completing the first da Vinci Cryptex I just had to have the second. I also bought the third for once I get through this one. Keep up the good work, really enjoying them 😍

NO LANDSCAPE MODE

Due to my physical limitations, I must use my iPad in landscape mode. The game appears to be fun but I cannot play as it is too difficult to analyze the punches while viewing them sideways.

Beaucoup de longues pubs (tous les 2 niveaux). À contrario, plus de pubs sur les 10 derniers niveaux mais qui sont tres faciles, d’autant que la solution s’affiche toute seule (bug!)
Mais sinon sympa, on récite l’alphabet et on compte beaucoup sur ses doigts pour résoudre des codes plus ou moins difficiles

a logical mistake on every other puzzle

There are concrete solutions to most of the puzzles but on half the levels the solution only works for 4/5 of the cryptex letters leaving you to guess the last answer. Would be fun if this simple mistake was fixed.
