Simply unreadable
Why does your app show every article in a font the size of COVID? Make it bigger or better yet add some accessibility features so users can change the font.
Great content but difficult to read
I like The Daily Caller’s content, but in both the app and the webpage so many of the fonts appear very small and I’ve been forced to give up on trying to read them. The app does not seem to accept iOS Accessibility settings, and I cannot find any text size adjustment settings in the app. I’m disappointed by that.

Ruined by full screen add’s
I just deleted the Daily Caller news app from my devices because of the obtrusive, full screen, video ad’s whose volume is overly loud while auto playing. It reminds me of the Fox News app which does the same thing. I’m not interested in ever downloading the idiotic games they advertise. I’m about to do the same with the Fox News app for the same reason.

Constantly Refreshing
This app has become nearly unusable. On an iPad, scrolling triggers a refresh that returns to the top of the page. What good is quality content when it can’t be accessed. Back to NewsMax for me.
Terrible, continually updating
If I could give this app zero stars, I would. It is in a loop is continually updating. If you get to read a story, it updates and defaults to the beginning automatically. Not worth the trouble!
Stop trying to get me to download a game!
I just want to read the news from a reliable source. I get that ads are a necessary function. But this app pushes game downloads that you can’t get off the screen. No matter how you try to move past it, you cannot. I deleted the app.
No Customer Support for APP issues
Everything was great with this app until a few months ago when I tried to post a comment and hyperlink message in red font proceeded by a red padlock appeared at the top: “Authorize to Participate”. I click on this link and it reroutes me to the log in page. Over and over and over. I go to the actual website and log in there- no problem. I changed my password, I have deleted cache, I deleted and reinstalled the app 3x. I tried Every trick I know- I’m an above average tech savvy person.
Worse- there is NO link or anywhere to report this problem. I clicked on the Report a Problem link in the App Store and that took me to Apple Support where you are prompted to select the app you want to report a problem with, and the only Daily Caller listed is the FREE version I had at the apps inception; (I have the Paid premium member subscription now) I click on that and nothing happens. I don’t have time to go to website every time I want to post a comment or otherwise dialogue with other subscribers. As the Sharks say on Shark Tank “For this reason, I’m out.”

Feature poor
I’m sure everyone is leaving glowing reviews because they like the journalism, which is decent. However, notifications fail to go to the linked page constantly and it’s 2025 and there is still no dark mode. PLEASE 🙏, enter the 21st century and give us dark mode.

Loved the app. It no longer works. It wouldn’t updating so I downloaded it again. Blank.
Problem with VPNs?
I enjoy the content and have checked the app daily until the last app update. I can no longer access the latest news unless I turn off my VPN. I suppose I will remove the Daily Caller from my phone if this doesn’t change.
Nothing but glitches
I used to enjoy the app, but then it glitched repeatedly, closing the app as soon as I opened it or even opened an article.
Great Articles, When I Can Read Them
The articles can be very informative, but the app crashes very quickly nearly every time I open it. Please fix it.

I’ve deleted this app because I am tired of checking the news in a quiet place like the doctors office, and having a loud game ad play before the article loads, with no “x” button to close it.

Way too many ads
The have good content but I rarely check the app anymore. They put ads on everything. Ads should not be on content that they did not produce.
Constantly Refreshes
This app constantly refreshes itself. Trying to read articles is a exercise in frustration. Then there’s the game ads. You can do better!

I just switched to this app from Breitbart because their latest update doesn’t allow reading in landscape. Hope it lasts!
Can't get it on my desktop
All of a sudden Daily Caller will not open up on my apple desktop running Sequoia

UPDATE: Sept 10, 2024
Version 18.8 is now crashing on launch. back to the drawing board... I guess, this is the same behavior that was experienced after updating from V 18.4 to V 18.5... Now V 18.8 is afflicted by a similar symptom... Help Devs...

The Daily Caller app was working fine (more or less,) until installation of V 18.5, now it will NOT open, it crashes on launch. I tried the usual method of uninstalling and reinstalling hoping to fix it that way, but it still crashes upon launch.
I hope that the developer fixes this ASAP. I should have known better than to install any update on a holiday weekend.
An additional note: It would be great if a 'Dark Theme' option were available, not everyone wants to read articles with a blindingly white background. Thanks.
