Improvement

This is a beautiful app! However, It is difficult to use gracefully some flaws that make it very frustrating to uss; the submit button, search button and “back” button are at the very top of my phone screen, it’s where I would see how much battery my phone has and the time, this makes it very difficult to press the buttons. I have to tap it continuously until it eventually works.

Accessibility and App controls lacking

The usability of accessibility functions is lacking on the app design. And by eliminating the ability to highlight text keeps you from using other accessibility features on your device. Font size controls lacking. I was excited for the idea of the app but to restricting to fit my needs. Screen readers only read page headers and there is not way to force font highlighting to help.

It’s an ok app except…

Why the codes? I have the workbook, I gave the app access to my email to send said code. Buuuuut i didn’t even see one 🤨. This is why I don’t do Bible studies by the way. The studies should be free for not only Christians, but for those who are brand new Christians

Great Content, Disappointing Interface

I really love the content of the Daily Grace Co app. It is on par with the content provided on their website, and I really like the convenience of having all of their content provided in one place and presented in the app form. I also like that you have access to a digital version of all of their physical studies and that it’s complimentary with every study you purchase. What this app is missing is full integration of what’s offered on the site. If there is a sale happening on the site, you cannot take advantage of that on the app. Also, some minor tweaks would make the user experience so much better. A few would be to fix the position of the menu button and really all of the top buttons. They are too high to easily press on my phone and iPad. And the ability to highlight and jot notes within the study and not just answer the questions would be a game changer. Such a game changer that I would even pay a small fee on this otherwise free app if it meant that I could save and pull up notes like in my Bible app. But I do think someone spending $19.99 on a single digital product should be able to mark it up for no additional cost.

Love!!!

I LOVE the content and studies! I love the podcast too!! My ONLY wish is that the app had Dark Mode!!!!

barely functioning

I’m disappointed I bought the studies online before downloading the app. It has been extremely difficult to access the studies I bought because the app keeps glitching. I have to toggle from wifi to data to get it to load, and it’s just a mess. There is also very little need for the studies to be in app based format - could have easily been a web browser. Disappointed I have to work on the app for the foreseeable future.

studies imbedded in app, No screen rotation option for journaling

I downloaded this app because I purchased several of the e books…. I had originally hoped the e books would be pdf so I could print them and maybe use them in a bible study but come to find out they are embedded into the app interface… which that’s fine and it prevents copyright, I understand that. It is nice that you can journal the entries to the studies into the app also…however you can’t rotate the screen for journaling which would be helpful for tablet use since this is the only way to access the digital studies…

Unable to access

I love this app on my phone, and I love the company. Recently I got a new iPad Pro 13 in with iPadOS 26.2.1 installed. I’m having issues trying to access the app. It shows up the main opening screen, but doesn’t fully open the app. It just shows me the white background of the main screen. On my old iPad I didn’t have issues opening the app at all. It opens perfectly fine on my phone. I personally like a bigger screen when doing my digital Bible studies, so I can write using my pen. Will there be a version of the app available sometime, so I can open it on my new iPad?

Please add the ability for all of us to easily see our notes and highlights made

This morning I went into the app and someone else was asking where we can see our notes and highlights made in the Bible in your app - the commentary is right there under the share wall section. It would be nice to quickly and easily access all the highlights and notes I’ve done too. I don’t always have a Bible on me, so this would be super convenient. Thank you.

Very

I absolutely love this app and the Bible studies! The digital Bible studies are so great and I feel like I am doing such a deeper dive into the Bible with the. My only complaint is the interface issues the app seems to have when I use it on my iPad. I rarely use the Bible on the app because to get out of it I have to completely close out of the whole app because for some reason the back arrow doesn’t work.

Please make it rotate on the iPad

Honestly a great app and I would give 5 stars for the content. I am more making this review specifically for its iPad compatibility. I would love for the app to rotate when my iPad is rotated, is this something that can be implemented soon?

Love the app but…

So I have never had this problem prior, but the last couple days it keeps saying no network connection while trying to use the app. I have deleted it and loaded it. Turned my phone on and off. Turned on and off my wifi. Everything else is working except the app. It will work for 2 minutes and then say that. I love this app but this is really making it difficult to use it.

Love

I love this app and the ability to look back over the studies and quickly with a tap of my finger be able to read over the cities I have done in the past, however I would love to be able to have the option to highlight. Is this something you could please add in the future?

Change the font

This is a decent app for a beginners Bible study. My only complaint- please change the font on the studies with something that has more weight and is black not light grey.

I am in my 30’s with pretty decent eye sight and feel like I have to squint and throw the brightness all the way up to read it. Maybe it’s preference but I do feel like the app is designed for us to “read digitally” so should be universally easy for everyone!

More Bible Version Options?

I love that you are putting more effort into keeping the app updated now, and, can we please have the option of choosing what bible version we like in the app too? I’m more of an ESV kind of girly.

Your Podcast has Motivated Me

Several years ago I began listening to your podcasts while I exercised. They are amazing. One of the things they have motivated me to begin doing is memorize larger passages of scripture. This has always been a daunting idea to me but I have been encouraged by these women to start small and not put any pressure on myself to memorize at any pace. Whether it took 1 day or 1 month to learn 1 verse, that is one more than I had before. I prayed for God to reveal to me a passage that would be good to start with and He showed me Psalm 91.

About a month and a half into memorizing Psalm 91 I was sharing with my mom what I was doing and she was amazed that she had also been prompted by the Spirit to learn Psalm 91 but hadn’t found the motivation to begin as memorizing had never been her strength. However with a “no-pressure” concept she wanted to join me in this endeavor. Since then we have checked in with each other daily to see where we are. Sometime it takes 2 days to get a verse and sometimes 6. Some days we don’t have time to do any of it but are still encouraging to each other, reminding ourselves that we would never have any of it had we not started. It took me about 3 months to get all of Psalm 91.

Yesterday I was able to recite from memory my 2nd long passage to her (Romans 12) after about 3 1/2 months. And today I started James 1.

This has changed my life. It is amazing what God can do when you have scripture in your mind and heart. I have noticed myself thinking differently, reflecting more or things above, and have seen long time prayers being answered because I have taken this new step of faith. I have found myself being able to pray scripture over my life and the lives of those around me as well as being able to “preach the gospel to myself!”

Beyond this, both my mom and I have been able to share what we are doing with others and the joy it has brought to our lives and have seen some of those people take on a new challenge of memorizing scripture as well.

Thank you for the encouragement you have given me to begin this new challenge.

Does not work

App on iPad does not work. When opening app I just get a blank white screen.

Such a cute app

I love this app for many reasons but mostly because I can also access my studies this way! My only gripe is that it almost doesn’t seem like it’s completely optimized for iPad mini’s. The top buttons (menu, back arrows, ie.) are very high up and collide with the time and date.

Can’t seem to download

Bought the download but can’t get it downloaded

Disappointed

Considering there are options for Digital bible studies which are great for me but the app does not open on my IPad Pro 13in. Deleted and downloaded it many times. Also know my iPad is updated fully. This issue needs attention.
