Local news is important to know
When I interviewed with ALCOA in the Winter of 1979 and accepted their offer for employment beginning in June, I asked that my manager would get me a subscription to the local newspaper. He did. I was able to better acclimate to this wonderful area by reading the Daily Times. Perhaps hiring managers of the other businesses in this area will take note of these comments.

Online membership
I wanted to commend the Daily Times for providing the community with a digital version !! It’s nice to also be able to go back and look at past editions.
Daily Times App
This is so much easier to read than the old online version. We are now reading paper online because of sporadic mail delivery,usually once every 2-3 days. Once we got 3 papers on same day. Reading day old news isn’t much fun.

Great way to keep up with local news
We need a local newspaper and since the physical paper isn’t delivered until late afternoon this app is the way to keep up.

Easy to navigate!
I wasn’t sure if I would like receiving the Daily Times electronically. But I don’t have any regrets! I know it will be available at the same time each day. I can enlarge the articles if I am on my cellphone so no problem! Thanks!

Always available, easy to read. Very convenient. Much improved.
Better since update
The electronic version of The Daily Times was improved with the last update.
It is now easier to navigate and a couple of areas we print on Saturday- the TV sports schedule and crossword puzzle- now format much better for printing.

Great App - Better than digital (computer ) version
The app version exceeds in quality & versatility compared to the digital/ computer version. Computer version is very inept.
Finally…..easy access to online local news
I have struggled with the old way of accessing the Daily Times online. Now with the easy access app and the improved navigation, it is a pleasure to read the news online and officially trash the hard copy….. Kudo’s to The Daily Times for a great improved experience in local news availability and navigation!
