Great app for .99
I see a lot of negative reviews but for .99 it’s well worth it. What were you expecting? You get what you paid for. It’s ok by me. People who had failed downloads may of not had enough space for it. It’s a 1.2 gig download. I’m enjoying it.

Won't Work
With version 9.1 of iOS on iPad Air 2, the app fails or hangs on many features. Who is responsible for servicing/fixing this app? For instance Waiting for the Sun, The Unknown Soldier preview video does not work!
Will not download!
I paid for the app, and it won't download. It stays stuck at "Downloading: 0%". I tried to email them at address they provided, but it would not deliver. I guess they take the money and run!

Doesn't load, doesn't work
I cannot get the app to load period. It says content loading and sits at 0% without ever moving. I delete the icon and reload over and over and keep getting the same thing. I want my money back. I would give it zero stars to match how much content loads but one star is the minimum.

I love this app and have been very frustrated lately. The update doesn't work! I've tweeted and instagramed the account to no avail. WHO CSN I CONTACT ABOUT THIS?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

I bought this app out of curiosity since I am a huge Doors fan. To my surprise, this is a great app and worth the price for die-hards and newbies of The Doors. The Doors are one of the greatest rock bands in the history of rock so if you want to learn more about them, check this app out!!! Long live, The Doors!!! \m/

I love this app. It tells the story of the band with great care and polish. It adds music clips and videos to support the telling and interfaces seamlessly with the albums bought on iTunes.
One minor gripe - the music stops when the iPad goes to sleep. Please fix!

Disappointed
I'm a BIG fan of The Doors but this app was very disappointing. After going thru the entire menu in an hour, there's nothing else to do with the app.
Doors bores
Disappointed that there isn't 1 full song. I feel like I bought a magazine that takes up a full 1 GB

+ 1 GB no wonder some poor reviewer can't download! I hit that buy button a little to quick, if I only knew. I'm sure I'll be impressed from the previous reviewers. I love the Doors.

Bought the app and doesn't down load.
This was a good app
Great app until update. Now music menu stays on constant it can not be closed and prevents you from accessing other areas in app. Fix this problem already deleted and downloaded problem still exists . 5 stars when problem is fixed. 2nd attempt fix problem noted music menu will not collapse

It's densely packed with goodies and at a fair price. Favorites are the Terrific David Fricke album essays, Tech Nuggets, Miami Incident and the clever way its told and the newly videoed commentaryfrom Ray, John, Robby.
If you know somone just turning on to The Doors, you couldn't suggest a better place to start.

Need more info
Love the doors, was very excited about the app. The map is basically worthless, needs details (what happen at the location) and more locations (world map to show where stuff happened like concerts, etc.)
No sound.
The app has a lot to offer, but after several attempts of deleting and downloading I still cannot get the sound to work. Any suggestions. I have the iPad 5 or 4s whatever they call it.
Failure
Don't buy this if you are expecting it to work smoothly with your existing Doors music library in iTunes. I have The Doors Perception album and this app still does not recognize all the songs in my iTunes library. What a joke of an app. Do not buy if you expect it to function as advertised.
