Inaccurate Campsite details
Got the 7 day free trial from an ad and it had completely inaccurate campsite pricing details for every park in my region. It listed ALL the Suffolk County, NY parks as being free tent camping but when I called the county parks to double check this I was told that EVERY county park with overnight campgrounds costs around $40 per night if you don’t have a resident permit which in fairness only costs $30 and is good for 3 nights.

Poor Scanner
I decided spending $60/yr for Pro services that don’t deliver was time to cancel. I’ve had a scanner active for 6 weeks and nothing. I’ve emailed support and they don’t respond. I have a few other options to switch over to. And oddly enough my free apps have given me way better availability alerts than Dyrt. If these alerts actually worked I’d never let go of this app since I’ve used it so heavily the past year.

don’t do it
signed up for pro trial saw the benefits and instantly paid for a year, two days later the app crashed, sits there and spins on the map won’t load anything
Scam!! Don't download.
I genuinely did not enjoy this app right off the rip, so I cancelled within my allotted time. After that a few days later I was charged 59.99 for a full year membership whenever my account was already cancelled with auto renew off! Impossible to get ahold of support. These people are horrible.
Terrible customer support
I’ve tried to cancel service. No one answers phone. No one responds to text or email. The ‘cancel’ button on website does nothing!
Need to pay for upgrades
I downloaded this for free camping spots and unfortunately it requires the upgraded version. Seems like a good app just not what I’m looking for.

Won’t let you past the trial sign up page
CASH GRAB. This used to be a good app, but the newest version won’t let people past the “Free Trial” page for the Pro Edition (app opens up to this splash screen). Basically worthless to download now.

Terrible waste of time. Do not rely on this app, about 9/10 places we’ve been to from this app either don’t exist anymore or cost an arm and a leg, wasting hours of travel time

Watch out for the deceptive renewal terms after a trial. Emailed a few hours after the 48 hour window and was denied a refund
Don't get premium
I subscribed the premium app a year ago and forgot to cancel it. Woke up one morning to a $60 charge from this app renewing my subscription. I received no heads up that this was coming, and when I tried to contact support multiple times I received no response.
Decent but …
I checked in to some of the “free spots” near lake Dillon Colorado. None of them were real spots. That was money wasted. Ended up paying for a nice campsite on the lake that I found on google.
Stuck on subscription page
I already have an account. But when I open the app it is forcing me to sign up and pay for the free trial. I am adding it to another one of my devices and I just want to log in, but there is no way to make the subscription splash screen go away!! PoS

If you want to camp for free don’t use this app because it costs money to use and it kinda defeats the purpose of free camping if you have to pay to use an app to find a camping spot.
Best B-day Camping site
My girlfriend and I just experienced an amazing campground Janes State Park in Maryland. The accommodations are next level when it comes up to set up cleanliness and accessibility. We rode the mountain bikes I had two inflatable items my tent and my kayak that I purchased off of Amazon for $100 which was truly amazing the views at sites 73 and 81 I was were breathtaking and my site 81 was right on the water with a constant breeze throughout the day and if you need to charge up your solar banks you have an option of solar or the electric sites which are Nextdoor which site 71 all I can say is OMG a must visit spot if you’re looking for a little piece of mind and Tranquility.

Expensive subscribe
It’s a shame these apps think $20 is an acceptable price for minimal features not only can I just google free campsites but I can use competing apps that offer the features for free! If subscriptions are the new trend why not make them in the range of 1$-5$ more people have that extra $1.50 rather then an extra $20, truly would have more paid users and longer subscribers if all apps figured this out they would improve there app traffic and net income….

Just for making money
I guess the developer he can’t work a real job. He has to charge people for information that is public knowledge on public land and free camping. There’s apps that don’t charge you to find that stuff so I’m deleting this useless app.
It’s okay
Half the information presented is AI generated and usually incorrect. You’d be better using recreation.gov. It’s cool it shows the dispersed camping maps but realistically you can just get the information for free online
