Big Time Bug Issue
To start, when opening the app it will always bring the user to the initial “Welcome Page”. The user then needs to select an option to explore the resources and tools of the app, either “I’m an individual” or “I’m a healthcare professional”. This may be an intentional choice by the app developers, however when there is already an option to go between the two choices offered at the bottom of their selected page, there’s really no reason to keep landing on the welcome page when opening the app. In fact it makes for a smoother user experience to have the app open upon their last choice, and if they need to go back there’s always the “Home” button located on the navigation bar. For a community that experiences chronic pain, the longer it takes to reach the desired field input, the more likely pertinent information will be lost. Personally I don’t want to spend time and mental energy navigating an app when I’m experiencing symptoms. I just want the app to open within the “Tracker” page, so I can quickly input my symptoms, before the motivation gives out due to said symptoms. Is there a way to allow users to mark their preference for their ideal landing page?
The following bugs all reside within the “Tracker” page:
The next issue can be found when attempting to set up a “Weekly” schedule after the initial “Add Medication” is set up. Regardless of the weekly occurrence, the schedule will set itself as “Sun, Mon, Tue, Wed, Thu, Fri, Sat, Sun, … at 12:00”. The days continue off the page, while pushing the “Edit” button off as well. If you’re able to catch the side of the page at the right spot, then you’re able to access the edit button and go back in to “correct” the problem. However, when the new time is saved the reminder shows as 06:00a instead of 12:00p; the timing is off by -6 hr. The “Daily” and “Monthly” options mostly work as intended and their “Edit” buttons are easily accessible; however their reminder times are also off by -6 hr. Would adding an internal time zone preference to settings help mitigate this and following time issues? (The app seems to be overcorrecting GMT time by going in the opposite direction.)
The next two issues can be found in “Track Something”. The first is found when inputing the time, regardless of what is being tracked. However, with this and the following occasions the time is +6 hr off. Therefore, when inputing any time after 17:59/05:59p it will be tracked on the in app calendar as having occurred on the following day. (The app calendar seems to going off of GMT time.)
The second issue is that all “Other” symptoms are grouped together and placed under a “Custom” title. This makes it very hard to easily tally up occurrences or look at a glance, as you need to physically look through each date on the calendar to locate when they occurred. However, under the “Symptom” option all “Other” symptoms are tracked under their individual name. Could “Other” symptoms be universally tracked within the app under their individual name?
As far as I have found, while testing everything out, the “Symptom” page seems to be working as intended. Patterns of days, times, moods, frequencies, and cross-occurrences seem to be tracking accurately. However, when viewing “Symptom” symptoms on the in app calendar, with a time stamp after 17:59/05:59p, they are tracked on the following day. Their time is also off by +6 hr.
Again I think the concept of this app is fantastic, and would love to use it to consolidate all my tracking. However, the aforementioned bugs make that hard to implement due to accuracy and user experience. I do hope you’re able to resolve these issues.
Response from developer
Hello, thank you so much for taking the time to share such a detailed review, it’s incredibly helpful. We’re sorry for the inconvenience this caused. The time zone issue you described was traced to a bug introduced in the v1.3 release (20th December), and we’re happy to confirm this has now been fixed in v1.3.1. We’ve also implemented your suggestion to remember the user’s last user type selection, so the app won’t keep returning you to the Welcome screen on launch (now, you’ll go straight through to the Home screen). On the “Other/Custom” tracking grouping: thank you for that suggestion as well, we'll work on a better solution for this for an upcoming release. If you notice anything still not behaving as expected after updating, or you have more ideas or feedback, please don't hesitate to get in contact — we’re actively improving the app and would love the chance to earn your updated review.
Very useful app!
Thank you for this app!
Not very functional…

Hello, thank you for your feedback! We're pleased to say we've addressed these issues in the latest release. The tracker has been redesigned for a more user-friendly experience (this also solves the "bulky" issue as more medications are logged), and the loading screen bug has been fixed. Please don't hesitate to get in touch again if you have any more thoughts or ideas — we're actively developing the app and would love to hear from you.
Medication tracker not working
But my main concern is that there is not a way to actually track the medication taken. It is just a list of daily meds but there is no checkbox or way to say “I’ve taken this med today - i don’t need to take it again” which to me, is the point of the tracker. I’m not sure if this was launched early or this is a bug. Would appreciate a contact about this

Hello, thank you for your feedback! You're absolutely right about the issues you mentioned. We've redesigned the tracker in the latest release: now, you can mark doses as "taken", and the scheduler is easier to use with the option to disable alarms. Please don't hesitate to get in touch again if you have any more thoughts or ideas — we're actively developing the app and would love to hear from you.
