Horrible

App never works. Paid for it yet can’t login. Now nothing works making the entire app, useless.

Poor business practices

Ongoing subscription issues with this app have made it worthless. Have had to contact app manager multiple times for interruptions in service each month. Temporary fix then problem recurs at the beginning of the next month. Takes several weeks to resolve each time. Would not recommend.

Need another update

Everything was fine before these series of updates…. From alerts from west bubba to no alerts to a non user friendly format… please fix this

After years of use they ruined it

I bought this this app many years ago but stopped receiving alerts a few months ago. I just figured out the fix is to pay $72 a year. That’s not happening. This subscription model for everything is untenable I hope these guys realize that. Bro $72 a year? Come on will the buffs really pay that? If they don’t next year it will be $100 to make up the difference. Where does it end?

Update is terrible

The new FireWire update is horrible. It’s slower, harder to navigate, and now you have to pay to even get regular notifications to your phone.

It’s okay

Was a very good App when everything was working.

Very nice

Found my ultimate fire buff app. I was a volunteer for 22 years but stopped when I moved to a different state. I enjoy listening to the FDNY and this app makes it easier to keep tabs on what’s going on since I can scan all the fire boroughs. The alerts may be slightly delayed and there was one all hands under control that never made it on the alerts today but that’s a very minor detail. Over all it’s very nice. Keep up the good work.

Advertising Chicago in Facebook, but no Chicago

Downloaded the app because it poppped
Up as a Facebook ad that they were now supporting Chicago.

But the feed selection will not let you select Chicago. Also notice every other review is more then 3 yrs old.

Dead app? Perhaps?

Needs a few improvements

Please add a filter for types and fires, Including Li Ion battery fires and Long Island Counties / towns. Thanks!

Wish it had more

It is a great app however I wish I am able to the FDNY EMS citywide frequency.

Great

This app is really good and I like it. But the suggestion I have is to cover small emergencies not just big fires. Like cover gas leaks water leaks ems calls MVA.

Chats broken

My chats is broken! Every time I try to chat it won’t post! If someone can please me how to fix it.

Awesome! But one suggestion.

This app is amazing for fire-buffs. Maybe the number one app for this sort of thing. The only suggestion I have, is to PLEASE cover smaller emergencies. I noticed a notification only pops up for LARGE emergencies or large fires. Please give us a heads up about smaller calls, like gas leaks, trash fires, and could we be noticed about where units are responding to also? Thanks.

Not Impressed

I was hoping to be able to use this app and give a great review but it won’t let sign up for a log in. I’ve tried for 3 weeks now hoping there was an error on their end and it would be corrected. Disappointed.

Subscriptions

Don’t waste your money on the premium subscription, they charge 5.99 a month which is expensive and they do not keep up with posts and notifications for Long Island. Not worth the money at all. Buyer beware.

iOS 13

After upgrading to IOS 13 I stopped receiving notifications. Hope the app will be updated to fix this issue.

Not happy

Signed up for paid version and selected Manhattan as bouough to watch. In 2 days received NO notifications. Looking at the history list, I’m seeing all the boroughs instead of Manhattan. Last Manhattan call shown is over 12 hrs ago.
2 emails to developer have gotten no response. Am going to drop the renewal
