Great app

In response to the other review I don’t see why you’d use this as a functioning E6B… If you have your phone you’d just google the conversions. It is a fantastic training app to teach you how to use your physical E6B. It walks you through different calculations/conversions. I would definitely recommend.

Update says you get pro version

Update says you get pro version if you had purchased before 2021. I had done that but now they want money to enable pro features, poor form.

Terrible!!!

Total waste of $3!! Graphics are terrible!!! Don’t be fooled by the ad!! Go get a training E6B from Sporty’s and a book!!

Junk

Graphics are so pixelated you can’t even read the values from the flight computer. Clunky, poorly made, what a waste of money.

Graphics poor and poor usability

I used to use a real e6b and this was harder to read and harder to use. Wind side missing low speed / high speed scale . Graphics not up to the resolution of an iPhone - looked pixelated. Woftam.

Don't do it

Want my money back!!!

Ouch

Pretty bad.

Blank screen

It does not work It gave me blank screen when run. iPhone 5s latest OS

this is not working?

will not start on my ios8.02

No hi speed

In wind side to calculate GS the maximum VA acepted is 250kt, inable to calculate hi speed.

Poorly made

Purchased, in spite of the price, because of past pleasant experiences with other aviation apps in the store. This is junk and appears to be an amateur attempt at app development that should not have been made available for sale here. It will only confuse someone new to a E6B and its sale unfairly prays on the hopes of future pilots in training. The "developer" - a self purported CFI - should be ashamed of himself.

Unfortunately, there doesn't appear to be a decent stand alone E6B trainer app out yet. A metal E6B, a free Skyvector on-line chart, & the free download of the FAA's Pilots Handbook of Aeronautical Knowledge are the best, and cheapest, places to start. Good luck.

Lacking

No instructions and not intuitive to use. Waste of my money.

At least the front side is right...

There's three bucks I can't get back. I thought it would have the full sliding scale and wind correction from the back of an E6-B, but no. Just a random problem generator for what? The actual E6-B I have in my other hand? And outside of the teaching mode, there is just a big gray calculator that's supposed to look like the FMS from an airline cockpit, but has zero functionality. You can punch in numbers, but there is no enter key, so I don't know how you would change data fields or calculate results. Looked good on the face, but that's all there is.

Same as below

I should have read the comments. Thought i would learn how to use this but instead am given random problems. And they are simplistic. No actual situational problems. Very boring even I knew how to use this.

Rename this app whizz quiz or something but not trainer. Misrepresented.

Does not do anything useful

I got this thinking it would be a good training tool for my students when teaching them the E6B. All this thing does is give you a random airspeed problem to figure out. cas > tas, tas > Mach, Mach > tas. No wind problems, groundspeed, fuel burn, eta, density altitude, or anything else for that matter. No wonder it was only a buck.
