Paid $100 to no avail

I paid $100:00 and still cannot get access or listen to any of the articles

Real Journalism

They publish long in depth opinions and stories. This is really hard to find.

Quality News

Love The Free Press’ truly fair and balanced approach to news. I also love the insightful opinion piece deep dives. The cherry on top is TGIF where they review the latest world news from a satirical seat. Oh and Suzy! She is the best. Who doesn’t want Suzy as a best friend!?! Come join The Free Press club.

The Bias is obvious

Bari Weiss has been a peddler of biased news since she left the NYT she’s not at all interested in the truth.

great content. stop nagging me to enable notifications.

look, i already turned down your suggestion to enable notifications dozens of times. why to you keep putting that blocking pop up dialog in my morning reading every other day? don’t become another attention-based company. i will come and read your content when I choose to, not when you bug me to.

Diversity of opinion

It’s refreshing to see multiple viewpoints rather than a consistent bias typical of MSM outlets.

Thank goodness for TFP!

Before my daughter introduced me to The Free Press, I was lost in a desert of biased reporting on the right hand left.
Your publication has saved me.

My Go to Every Morning

I absolutely love this website’s insightful commentary on international affairs, especially Aaron McClean’s school of war. Its cultural commentary, including Abigail Shrier’s column are great as well.

My Go-To Source

I've been reading since the early days of "Common Sense" (thank you, youngest bro-in-law). The Free Press has become my go-to source for in-depth reporting. There are different viewpoints on the same issues and I appreciate that so much. I find excellent articles I would have found nowhere else on important subjects like higher education, law, the rise in antisemitism, as well as thoughtful commentary and - what?! - great humor. Thank you to the staff and other supporters.

Finally, normal people!

I subscribed to the TFP approximately six months ago as a childhood friend kept referring to the well written articles. It is not afraid to report fearlessly, regardless of political agenda. As a Nurse Practitioner, I do wish their medical reporting was more robust. Looking for contributors from the purple state of Pennsylvania ;)?

Most reliable publication

Constant supply of interesting news and analysts that I can rely on.

LEFT BIAS - Not centrist as advertised.

I thought this would be a center view unbiased app. Many articles don’t bother to show both sides to an argument. Just leaning left.

I’m sure people on the left love having another echo chamber that does nothing to solve the division in our country.

The Best

TFP is one of a kind. It opens minds.

Douglas !

Delicious :-)

Love the content. Hate the app.

I have to read Free Press articles in email, not the hated app. This is because, after reading some way into an article, if I navigate away briefly and come back, the app loses context and takes me to the FP home page. Even worse, while commenting on an article, I may have written most of a detailed comment, navigate away to check something, and when I return, same thing! App takes me to home page, my carefully crafted comment is gone. (In professional IT terms, this is data loss, something to be scrupulously avoided at all costs). Do better!!!

Great app

This is a great app for a great news site. Highly recommend

Excellent App & Reporting

In a time of quick takes & one sided college newspaper style reporting, it’s great to have TheFP.

G-d Bless Bari Weiss

I absolutely love The Free Press, and I can’t recommend it highly enough to anyone looking for a news site to subscribe to. Six stars!

A refuge for analysis and opinion

The Free Press is a refuge for those tired of the bland, superficial analysis all too common in the pop media of the right and the left.

No AI summary, no free sharing

AI summary feature should be a priority, I end up opening articles I’m sort of interested in in Safari to leverage that summary function. Editors need to give readers more freedom and allow for these summaries in app.

Also, you cannot share a free article, WSJ/Economist/etc have this feature.

Overall navigation isn’t that straightforward, you should take a cue from the Economist’s app

Big big fan of the content though!
