What you are for: a base that stands on its own, then the Moon, then Mars — and one day a launch after which nobody founds a colony by hand again. The Galaxy We Made is a small, calm colony builder across three worlds. Dig ore, make power, grow food, house people. Research what ore cannot buy. Open the Moon, then Mars, and run freight between them, because each world has one thing the others do not, and the ending needs all three in one place. One story runs through all of it, and it has an end. The probes go, the colony sleeps, and the sky you wake up to is not the one you went under.
