Dishonorable business practices
Changing from a free application and making it suddenly cost money is terrible. I count on this app for my grocery shopping and suddenly my shopping experience became basically impossible due to this scummy change. On to find another scanner app.

THE APP WORKS SO WELL!!!
i have celiac disease and i can NOT have gluten i have got this app and it has saved me from getting sick cuz sometimes it says gluten free but it is not gluten free and/or cross contamination so ty for making this app!!
Bad for privacy
They added a forced Google / Apple sign in after i purchased this app. I don’t want to be tracked so can no longer use this app.
Not fully accurate
I was purchasing an item and wasn’t sure if the item was completely gluten free I use the app and it said it was. However, a family member ended up eating the product had a reaction and broke out in hives. Just be careful using this app because it’s not always fully accurate.
Deleted
I used this pretty much every every time I went to the grocery store. Then it started requiring me to set up an account and login. I deleted it from my phone.
My Hero App
I've been using this app for over a year now and it's truly a critical part of my dining out experience. Whether I'm looking for places around me or for when I travel, this app is a huge help. My biggest complaint had nothing to do with the app itself, and more so to do with people giving places inaccurate ratings, as it seemed they weren't reviewing the rating criteria defined in the app. BUT they recently rolled out some changes to help combat this and I want to say thank you to the developers for the updates!! The new "quiz" structure to guide people to a safety rating and review is so so helpful and I have a bit more confidence that other folk's ratings will be more accurate moving forward. Overall love this app, and will continue to use it whenever I can!

Info-sharing App
I paid for this app and found it only slightly helpful, usually not recognizing the bar codes I scanned. Now it wants me to sign in so it can “share information” about me. No thanks
Login???
I used to love this app, but now it requires a Google or Apple login. There’s simply no reason why they need my Google or Apple password to use this app. I think I’ll be moving on to other apps now.

App worked for years without requiring email or login. Support blames Apple technical requirements yet many other apps work fine without sign in.
