What's New in The Gnome

1.5.0

September 1, 2026

- Fixed a bug that caused countoffs to be in the wrong tempo when looping and incrementing the tempo ramp with Rep Countoff enabled. - The Tempo Ramp Break function now has two modes: On Loop (the default), and On Increment, which allows the break to only occur when the tempo is incremented, rather than on every loop. - Added a white noise generator to the master strip of the mixer, for the purpose of keeping some wireless speakers active during silence. - It is now possible to customize the order in which presets appear within the Presets browser. - Arbitrary notes can now be saved to preset files (accessed on the Master Strip). These notes can be used for explanatory purposes, or as a simple practice or rehearsal log. - The Pattern Editor now features a Meter Builder that allows you to quickly generate patterns for common time signatures. - The Sequence Editor includes a Pattern Finder that makes it easy to locate existing patterns and create new ones as needed while you build your pattern sequence. - Tapping an already loaded preset file in the Preset Browser automatically jumps to the Home Screen. - When you push the app to the background or close it, a snapshot is automatically saved, which can be recalled the next time you start the app by long-pressing the Reset button on the home screen. - Various bug fixes, UI adjustments, and documentation updates.
