Good Game

A simple stupid adventure game, honestly all of Graham’s games are good fun.

Great Game

This is a great game. I grabbed it a while ago, lost track of it and found it again when clearing junk off my phone. Would be great to see an update and more content. I would throw $5 at the developer if there was a way to. No ads also.

Abandonware

I’m sad to say this because I loved the concept but the dev clearly stopped updating and has moved on to something new. The foundation is there. Would be nice to see them return to add more to the game.

Absolutely not for the disabled

Matching steps to game progress may seem like a clever gimmick but if you don’t add any accessibility options you’re blocking a lot of potential players. Charging money for steps is well and good but it shouldn’t be mandatory. I and many other mobile gamers are disabled & can’t even leave home.

Game devs who disregard the importance of accessibility features really need to grow a tiny shred of empathy

Please keep working on the game

I will pay money

Way too confusing

I downloaded this a while back and played a couple of times but didn’t get far. I tried to pick it up and play again (after accumulating 350k steps) but have no clue how to play now. There is no instructions and the game will give info that pops up and disappears. So you can no longer pull up that info. Deleting

love it. don’t forget about it please

new content would be brilliant, perhaps the ability to upgrade roads eventually to need less steps. I know steps are a key part but as the world is so massive going from once place to another takes a long time, perhaps key roads could a be little faster?

Love the game

Helps me slow down and motivates me to get some exercise.

Awesome game but sad to hit a wall

Love the game so far it’s really getting me off my butt and walking, but I was crushed when I got the notification that the banquet had concluded, but there was no more content left to progress yet. Hope you’re still working on the game. Excited to see what you have in store.

Steps not being recognised

Just started playing this game. Looks pretty cool.
I don’t mind the fact that it requires real life steps to generate the steps in game.

Only problem is when it doesn’t recognise and collect my steps. This has happened to me a couple of times.
Most times the steps are counted and generated but at times without doing anything different I get random moments where nothing comes through after I’ve gone out for a bit of a walk. Sometimes not a single step is recognised.

I’ve got both pedometer and apple health activated and permissions activated. It seems random and buggy.

Got me to turn on my pedometer

I do a fair amount of walking every day, but until this game, the only benefit was to my health, outlook and lifespan. No need to track my steps just because I can. It’s good to keep some things in life pure, y’know? Just go for a walk because it’s nice.
You get home, live your life, check in on this every so often, and bam, you’re all set.

Could have been great

This game seemed to be super fun until you run out of steps and actually have to walk around in real life to keep playing.

Mobile game addiction that helps you walk

I like playing mobile games, and have a habit of checking regularly when a game is time dependent. Because of this game progresses not through time but through the amount of steps you take, I’ve been thinking regularly about how I can fit a walk into my daily schedule to keep playing; it’s a wonderful way to walk more of you like playing mobile games.

Step based as last event of day is a bit lame

Tried this as last activity of day, in bed, ….. find out I need to use steps to continue.
I’m, thank goodness only spent 3 minutes on it.
Deleted, looking for another game to try.

Loving this so far!

I like that you don’t have to actively play this while walking, it’s something you can play in your downtime after you’ve spent the whole day walking / working / doing life things.

I will say the base font is a bit weird, some characters look a bit scuffed, but that’s minor.

Fun!

Love this game and it makes me want to get out and walk more so my little dude can get more done on the map each evening after I get home!

Great game

This game is wonderfully simple. I’ve been looking for a game with similar trading mechanics for a while, but could never find something this good

:)

Absolutely love this game :)

Great companion game

I walk a lot and it’s always a great way to spend a little time improving my world at the end of the day. Tight economy, neat missions, and clean simple aesthetic, all very well done!

Now I just need more updates to find out what happens after the Fort Hyacinth feast! :)

Seems like it might be a good game…

… but I wasted all my steps before working out the game mechanics. I’m not going to hook up my personal step data to an app just to play a game.

Too bad if I have a disability that makes me unable to walk.

As a suggestion to the developer: you could replenish steps at a certain rate per hour, but the replenishment rate could increase based on the number of real world steps done. E.g reach 2000 steps, replenish rate is 2x, reach 5000 steps replenish rate is 5x, reach 10000 steps replenish rate is 10x.

Making this change would make your game friendly to disabled people and privacy focused people.
