Ridiculous
The latest version is a mess! It looks more like a Tremonton or Idaho paper than one for Cache Valley. Navigation is a joke. More items from years ago than current items. I’ll keep it on my phone for a while longer, hoping for a massive, practical new version.

This app randomly crashes all the time. If I open the app: crash. If I try to enlarge a photo: crash. If I try to share a story: crash.

No good at all
Requires you to log on with user profile to read anything and then does not offer any way whatsoever to even create a profile. This is bloatware and useless.
Doesn't update the news
Worthless app. It was poor to begin with but after the HJ changed the web version the news doesn't update. Stuck in time in May.

You should make this app to viewed in all positions when you hold the devise. Good other wise. Just frustrating to have to switch the devise to be able to read the content.
Stupid - Full Articles NOT Available
This app is stupid. It's like they are trying to use it only to get people to buy a 'membership' to their websites to get the whole article. I don't understand the point of this app. It might just be me, but it seems quite useless unless you are already a 'member' or are going to purchase a membership.

Herald Journal doesn't even allow you to read the news stories unless you are a member. Isn't that what the advertising banners are for? The only news worth reading in Logan anyway is if the town burns to the ground.
Errors
I get "404 - file not found" errors when checking the classifieds and other areas of the app.

Poor to bad not all of the news that is in the paper. Why do I pay for this? I see front page stories on the news stands but not on the app
No news is good news???
This app is more evidence that the Herald Journal just can't keep up with the times. The only way to read an article is to go to a full browser. Worthless!

Am a paying electronic member. However, cannot make comments on articles and editorials via the IPhone during lengthy traveling. Also get the full-article-for members message upon opening and then have to log out and then back in.
