A great app for all Console Users
The app has all the benefits from the website version, but with an improved outlay and easier navigation for mobile devices. Perfect for keeping track of personal trophy progress and tracking on-going sessions for titles.
Super convenient!
This app is great. It's got everything from game guides and sessions to gaming news - and of course, a trophy tracker! Usually when I'm playing games I have to drag my laptop around to check my progress or to look at guides. Having something handheld like this makes it so much more convenient. The mobile version translates really well from the laptop version so I can use either whenever I need to. The discord server that they have connected to the app is super cool as well. There's a lot of good people in there that you can hang out with and get help from for games. I'm excited to see where this goes!

A Community Built with Passion
The Hunter’s Cabin may not be a perfect app yet, but it absolutely deserves five stars for what it has already achieved and the potential it has to become something even bigger.
This is a growing project supported by a relatively small community, with much of the work done by volunteers. What stands out most is how much time, effort and genuine passion have gone into creating both the app and the community around it.
It is exciting to be part of The Hunter’s Cabin while it continues to develop, and I look forward to seeing where the team takes it next.

Great community so glad I discovered
I saw the other review and wanna state things from my point of view, I discovered this community 8 years ago and have watched it grow immensely, the website and app being made was a bit step in the right direction for the community making the discord flow with ease and a platform for events and sessions to be held. This is the most reliable community I’ve been apart of and I’m exciting to see more progress

Great Tool for Trophy/Achievement Hunters
The Hunter's Cabin for me completely changes the game for anyone tracking down tough trophies and achievements.
Finding a gaming group without gatekeeping can be tough, but this app/ discord/ website provides a truly encouraging, moderated space where experienced players genuinely want to help you succeed. The only thing they ask if you join the discord is to link with the website which takes 5 seconds and is free.
The walkthroughs and guides are community vetted, ridiculously detailed, and cut straight to the point so you spend less time searching and more time playing.
Whenever I've gotten stuck on a brutal trophy requirement, I’ve been able to connect with players who have already completed it and can offer targeted advice.
Syncing your profile and keeping tabs on your milestone achievements is seamless and rewarding.

Massive bait-and-switch. AVOID.
I’ve been a part of this community for a while, but I'm done. The app being free was just a stunt to bait people into buying their premium subscription. To make matters worse, the environment has shifted towards favouritism and money-focused. Now they are getting even greedier with an upcoming policy change. They are about to force everyone to register for an external website and make financial donations on their discord. They're going to implement a system where they will have a bot in the Discord server to verify if you are part of the website, and if you haven't joined, you are forced to leave the Hunters Cabin Discord entirely. Forcing ultimatums like this is a terrible way to treat a community. Look into other superior tracking options and friendlier communities before even thinking of wasting your time here.

We understand that not every change will be welcomed by every member of the community, and we respect anyone’s decision to move on. That said, we do want to clarify that this review contains several claims about our intentions and future policies that are not accurate. The Hunters Cabin was not created as a “bait-and-switch.” We have continued developing the platform, adding features, maintaining the community, and looking for sustainable ways to support that development. Changes to features, memberships, or community systems should not automatically be interpreted as an attempt to exploit our users. The website is, at its core, free. Like other websites, however, we do offer paid features. We also want to add that we are not unique in wanting to make sure that our members must verify themselves. Especially, with an uptick of cyberattacks. We appreciate the time you spent with The Hunters Cabin and wish you the best moving forward.
