User reviews

Awful - More Awful than you can imagine

Aside from entering your weight there is little support this app provides anyone let alone someone attempting to follow the idiet. The app is buggy so you have to pop in and out to get the pull down menus to appear. Considering the idiet asks people to eat the same foods over and over again, you would expect that selecting and entering idiet meals would be easy but it is not. You can only enter words to describe what you ate and the app doesn’t provide you with any useful information regarding calories or macros like other apps do. You cannot enter info on your satiety or anything else. You cannot review your progress in any meaningful way beyond your weight for a 2-week period. The app does some strange thing and changes the weights you enter if your weight goes up and down to fit some algorithm that must make someone happy but certainly doesn’t mirror reality. Bottom line this app is not worth the effort of downloading. Even the idiet staff tell you to use Fitnesspal - wow!
I am updating this review to add that I have not used the FiberOne diet (that is what this diet really is) in over a YEAR and clearly no one at iDiet has been reading the reviews which says a lot about them. Caveat Emptor!

Response from developer

This app was intended to help iDiet course students quickly enter their daily weight via their Apple Watch or the iOS app. It is not intended as a full experience — for other features we suggest you use the mobile-responsive iDiet member website on any of your devices.

App will not let me in

Just downloaded the app for the first time. App requires a username and password on first page. I assumed this would let me create an account. No, the app returns a wrong username/password. Currently I cannot find where to create an account and I am not receiving a message such as "forgot username/password" link

I'm sorry you are having trouble. Use of this app requires a paid membership at theidiet.com. You need to have a paid account via theidiet.com first. You can also recover your username and password there. This app is a benefit of membership — it's not a way to make the initial purchase. I hope that helps explain the issue.

Not working

Tried to register-can not go past first page. Faulty app, please repair!
