The epaper to an expat is wonderful but…
1. Formats become stale, repetitive for too many years, stale out of date commentators who need recycling
2. Weekend review is jaded and needs a substantial overhaul
3. The business section is boring, lacks the type of analysis given to say the political section
4. In depth analysis, big read type content is lacking
The e paper technology is clunky, crashes regularity with difficulty getting through to get it fixed, get feedback when one complains to prevent reoccurrence.
You’re doing a great job but some spring cleaning required as your competition is getting better, your readers more demanding.

An umbilical cord to truth in the news…
There are times in our lives when we may not even be aware of what it is that we need for survival. In our mothers’ wombs, were we conscious of the miracles that were unfolding all around us, protecting us from a harsh outside environment until we were ready and able to breathe and think for ourselves?
Back then, time created a bridge of hope between our cocooned world and the real world, soon to open a passage to birth new horizons of life and hope.
Today, we still remain within a caul of unknowing. The spoken and written word hangs in the balance as each new day dawns and we weigh up all utterances, aspirations, threats and hopes to give colour to our thoughts and energy to our actions. Good or bad, kind or wicked, gentle or aggressive, peace or conflict, true or false? Who knows!
Thankfully, the Irish Times offers us an umbilical cord to truth in the news as a daily beacon of hope, a trusted interlocutor that shines a light in an otherwise darkening dawn. Let us walk towards the light as words are made flesh.

It would be useful to have more Northern/Northern Ireland news, not in terms of politics but social, economic and cultural issues ……to counterbalance a Dublincentric focus…. I expect the same could be said for Cork and Galway

The ePaper version is my best travelling companion. It keeps me fully informed with well-composed articles and well-informed stories no matter where I am in my travels. (The only exception is the Saturday edition which I try to acquire in “hard copy”, as it is a collector’s item and is probably the best newspaper in the whole wide world). Thank you for being such a good and reliable friend.
