Ithaca Journal App

I enjoy getting The Ithaca Journal on-line. I find it so much easier to read!

Works Most of the Time!

I love that my online version of the Ithaca Journal is there whenever I want to read it. I can’t give it 5 stars, however, because I can’t always get it to open the next page and have to go to pages or another section and click on the next page instead. I also have problems with size changes when I am reading something small like the comics and want to enlarge it.

On line print edition

Love being able to read The Journal on line and it looks just like the print edition. And on my iPad I can enlarge the print for easy reading with no glasses.

Used to be great

I enjoy reading the Ithaca Journal this way but the app is constantly freezing and reinstalling and clearing stored data won’t resolve the issues. It’s only become an issue in the las month but the app hasn’t been updated in over a year.

Not bad

I like the lifelike experience. Cons: it doesn't keep you logged in, so I you don't read the paper for a couple of days, you have to keep logging back in. The app should continue to recognize you on your device. It's also a little crashy. Pros: It lets you look at everything in the actual daily paper. The pages load pretty quickly, an with the iPad's retina display, it's very readable. Zooming works pretty well, too.
