Compared to the others, this one doesn’t feature a single classic game and is not nearly as fun.

Our family LOVES playing this game at family gatherings. It balances drawing, creative writing, and good guessing in the scoring.
Stopped working on iPad
App no longer will open on iPad.
Can’t play on my iPad
Literally spent $30 on this and it won’t even open on my iPad and I can’t even look it up on the AppStore on my iPhone. I want my money back.

Disappointing -- Get the iOS version
Very disappointing to find they've disabled running apps purchased in iOS on Apple Silicon-based Macs. Why not enable this so those with technically capable hardware don't have to use AirPlay and drain two device batteries.
They did the right thing with synchronizing the iOS and tvOS apps, and could easily add macOS to that umbrella if it were enabled. And with minimal work required.
Games are enjoyable, but group size is limited when you are mobile. AirPlay over to a MacBook works okay, but drains both batteries quicker than just running on a single device. I would recommend getting the iOS version, and not the macOS version, because you get much less for your money with this version. With the iOS version, you also are able to install DIRECTLY onto your Apple TV -- so AirPlay isn't required. Additionally, you can AirPlay from iOS to your MacBook, iMac, etc. with the iOS version.
Hopefully Jackbox will enable use of their iOS apps on Apple Silicon hardware soon, because there's no technical reason not to.

Doesn’t screen share.
Bought this for Christmas Day games, when in screen sharing to my tv the iPad screen was ok, but tv screen would not centre so could only see 10% of the screen. Tried on multiple tvs, but always failed. Requested a refund.

We’re big fans of Jackbox and get the pack each year. The graphics have improved so much since the start… but wow… this pack was a big disappointment. Sorry team, but the only game in this one that we find fun is Job Job, and even then, it’s only ok. Drawful is an all time favourite, but the animation added nothing apart from making it take too long / too much effort. The other games are simply boring.
We’re really hoping that pack 9 will be different! (Pack 7 was brilliant! Well, most of the games.)

Crashes
I love the Jackbox franchise, but Jackbox 8 has crashed every time I've tried to play it. It just crashed during a family event when everyone was really into it so it was pretty disappointing. Please fix these bugs Jackbox!

Could not get to work on MacBook
Could not start to play a game without totally freezing laptop. Not playable on new MacBook at all and requested refund. I would advise against buying from the app store.

Don't buy this. This so bad app compared to the previous one. There is no game that we think good to play
Fun but buggy.
This pack is fun, I think it has alot of varierty in the type of games.
We've had issues with the sound getting getting disconnected and the game being laggy when airplaying to AppleTV. (This may be AppleTV related and not releated to the game)
The biggest issue we had is "The Wheel of Enormous Proportions" is unplayable. We've tried to play it and it crash halfway though 4/5 times.
