完全課金前提、Pay to Winの育成ゲーです
わたしは2025年秋、ピックアップレジェンドファイター テリーが実装されたあたりからプレイしてます微〜小課金勢です。
完全無課金では本当に無理ゲー( ˙꒳˙ )
このゲームで「快適にプレイができる」最低条件は広告スキップの800円と、戦闘シーンが飛ばせるプレミアムバフ1,000円（どちらも月額）が絶対に必要です。これらを購入しない方々が、レビューで「広告が邪魔」「ダラダラと戦闘シーンを見せられる」と書かれておられます。
あくまで放置ゲーなので戦闘シーンではプレイヤーはGOを押すのみ、ほかは一切操作ができません。PvPにおいては表面的な戦闘力が勝っていても負けることがあります。深層にある細かい育成項目のどれかまたは複数が自分の方が低いものがある、また乱数によるブレがあるのだろうと思っています。
ゲーム内ショップで一日あたり50円程度〜数千、数万円の強化アイテムが何十種類と用意されていて各種上限まで買うことができますが、これを毎日どれだけ買えるかで育成の成長速度が変わります。ちなみにアイテムごとに項目も伸び率もバラバラ、どこに重点を置くかはプレイヤーそれぞれに違います。
ガチャについては私個人の体感なので微妙ですけど基本は渋いです。ピックアップレジェンドガチャは1000回回してピックアップレジェンド１体…？ってこともわりとザラ。（１周目1000〜10,000回、2周目1,000〜20,000回（たしか）の各所で１体〜MAX４体もらえるので一応保証はある）でも、ごくたま〜にデレてくれるピックアップキャラクターがいてポコポコ出てくれることも……ごくまれですけど。（これまでにそう思ったのは2キャラ）ガチャ石も何種類かあって、配布量もそこそこ多いです（課金前提）ピックアップ期間はだいたい2週間、30,000回回しての保証配布数だけを合計すると最低でも26体もらえるので３凸は確定。それ以上は運。ちなみに最大は10凸、必要数は75体です。レジェンドファイター獲得はガチャだけでなく、育成コンテンツ内のネスツラボで専用アイテムと交換でもらえます。（専用アイテムの獲得が少々難関）
庭園の略奪・道場の乱入については実行することでもらえるアイテムがあるのでそれを狙っているプレイヤーがいます。運営がゲームシステムとして設定しているものなので運営に文句を言っても無駄です。だからできるだけ防ぐ。そして防ぐには強くなる…ではなく逃げる。これが一番有効です。もちろん自分がすぐに強くなれればいいのですが、ひっくり返りそうもない戦闘力差はまず埋まりませんし追い越すのはさらに課金が必要で現実的ではありません。なので庭園では肥料を有効活用して花が咲いたら即、刈り取る。道場では11時間以上〜最大報酬に達したら即、撤退。これをしないと標的にされます。（しかしながら道場は11時間経っていなくても乱入されることがあるようです。その場合、多くは乱入成功によりもらえるアイテムを狙っているのではなく、道場のその場所を使いたいから追い出すのです）
自分は推しキャラクターのイラストを眺めることが癒し、育成をすることが楽しみなのでそういうスタンスの課金できるプレイヤーならこのゲームを楽しめるのではないかと思います。このゲームのキャライラスト、ほんとに美麗で眼福です。
運営さんに要望が一点だけ、キャラクターのボイスを聞けるところをプロフィールに追加してほしいです。ご検討いただけますように。

Avoid
Every netmarble game I’ve played is the same. Bundle after bundle of over priced garbage, that won’t make that much difference to your gaming experience. You need to be spending constantly. Just a greedy company

I like the characters designs and the art style a lot! There was some freezes but I REALLLLY love it!
Fun but Demanding
As much as I enjoy this title, from it’s spritework inspired by Neo Geo Pocket art from SNK’s portable KOF titles, to being generally F2P player friendly, this game is one of the most demanding I’ve played. I understand that my iPhone XR’s 3GB of RAM is not that much, however, this deceptively simple game on it’s lowest settings has my phone vary from scalding hot to thermonuclear meltdown. It also completely crashes after about 15 minutes of play, and sometimes whenever it feels like it. Lag, freezes, and other assorted things are also very common.
I really like this game, but this game does not scream “Works on this iPhone” for me, and I’ve heard that even the latest iPhones experience the same performance issues I am facing.
Netmarble should take some time to focus on some serious optimization work before I can give this game 5 stars. I would still recommend it, if your phone is recent enough.

Pior gatcha do universo, dei 10000(DEZ MIL) pulls no banner e só veio 1, absolutamente nojento.
low effort money trap
this game is not worth playing. the same exact afk game as any other indie afk with KOF skin. filled with micro transactions but put in no effort into character design. every tier of the character does the EXACT same thing. there absolutely no difference character to character from appearance. same damage, same passive, same target area, same worthless afk game. honestly why would anyone play any afk. we used to want afk mods because it helps us level when we sleep so we can enjoy the active playing time when we do play. having a whole game thats afk and no participation except gatcha is pointless. oh it also has the woooorst gacha rate. 3000 summon will get u nothing, u have to pay to buy copies directlt

Another P2W
Just like all other netmarble faces games, P2W. Extremely low rate summons. They give you tons of premium coins/diamonds for them, up into millions to make the number look good, but you get very little summons and the rate are extremely low. They make you think OMG I got almost millions of these diamonds to use for summons! But summon also cost like 30k each. So 1 million of those diamonds really only get you about 33 summons times 30 which is about 990 units but with the extremely low rate you might not even get 1 high rating character. And for the “you get the character copy every how ever much summons? It’s 1000, which is basically 1million diamonds. And not to mention to star up the characters doesn’t take only one copy at a time, it starts at 2 copy. I have not play not enough to see how many copies it’ll take at higher stars, but I’ll assume it’ll go up to 10 to 20 copies at almost max. Game is basically P2W, worst, even whales might have hard time trying to P2W with the cost of things and how bad the summon rates are.

I hope the creators will see this, but this game is unfair. The dojo and the garden is very bothersome when an OP whale of player raids you making it IMPOSSIBLE to counter. Your best bet is to be in a squad with super active whales stronger than the one raiding you. Also, a lot of weird people who are too lazy to even help defend the raids when you ask for help. I feel like the raids should neutralize the power levels and make it fair so that it actually feels like you have a 50/50% chance to win against a whale.
Definitely a money grabber for a wrong reason. I shouldn’t have gotten too into this game and spent quite a lot. But it’s to be expected in AFK games I guess. You can take my money, but not like this. Lol
Besides that, I absolutely LOVE the cute pixel-style KOF characters, illustrations, their skill animations, and voice work. I was already a small fan and playing a different game that had a few KOF characters in it and that’s how I got more into the KOF world.

つまらない
ポチポチひたすら押すだけでだるいだけ。放置ゲームのくせに素材集めや獲得要素が無駄に多く(広告あり)大して面白くもないのに作業プレイが多すぎてすぐに飽きてきます。
敵や低レアリティに謎のオリジナルキャラクター大量にいるのも意味不明。全く思い入れが無いキャラクターばかり見たくもない。
初めてやったKOFのスマホアプリがこれでしたが最悪です。

This game has the worst gacha sistem I’ve ever seen in my entire existence, and I play genshin impact, what do you mean I make 4,227 pulls and I only get 4 consolation fighter!!?? Absolute garbage

3 tries to get xp for players and you can’t get passed level 70????? MAKE XP EASIER TO GET AND ILL GIVE THIS GAME 5 STARS
One of the best mobile games of all time
KOF AFK is one of the best idle RPGs I’ve ever played. It’s incredibly fun, awesome events and very free-to-play friendly. Even if you aren’t a King of Fighters fan, give it a try. If idle games are your jam, this one’s for you.
Im addicted however…
The foremost issue I keep running into is lag and connectivity issues while I’m playing on a iPhone 17 pro max. Lags when loading dungeons, etc, when switching screens, upgrades, etc. It doesn’t lag every time but it lags enough to become troublesome warranting the review. Will keep playing, 5 stars prehaps when lag is no longer a present issue.

Too many pop ups, too much going on all over the screen. By the time you make sense of one system you get 8 more pop ups

Fix This Unplayable Bug
This game is pretty fun and forgiving, and I really enjoy playing it. There’s a big issue though. Whenever I try to load into a challenge or dungeon, the game freezes on the loading screen. This has persisted after the most recent update. I have been unable to enter any dungeon, stunting my progress in the game. Please fix this bug soon
