Huge space for improvement

Recently became a member of Lensbury. This app supposed to help but half of the services you must book in person anyway because it does not work from app. NFC reader does not work for me, there is no Apple Wallet integration for pass card. An app like this would have been “ok” for 2015, for 2025 it looks way under the any expectations.

Needs improvement

The app is not compatible with ios18.5. It does not show on the list of mobile data use , so only works when wifi connection is possible, otherwise does not open the app .

Abysmal

This app actually causes mental distress. You have to book a popular class watching the secondhand as it turns 8 am. You are then held spinning for half a minute. If you miss it by seconds, you will not be put at the top of the waiting list. You are simply all in a pool of stressed out people who have to check their email constantly for when a space comes up. The best time to get one is 2.30 or 3 am and it is honestly true that that’s when people get spaces. We watch TV at night checking for an email notification for a space. It is a truly horrible app based on a horrible booking system The introduction was chaos. I repeatedly cannot use it when on data not WiFi. Refunds for paid classes are not processed properly. The feedback system was set up, but I have never received a reply to any feedback. What a mess.

Rubbish

New app is absolute rubbish and significantly worse than the app it replaced. Too many faults to list but in summary significantly slower, ridiculous new waitlist system that results in more stress and less classes and compounded by almost non existence communication by Lensbury management. App feels like it was developed in someone’s lunch break For a supposedly premier sports club the app is an embarrassment.

The app is not compatible with ios18.3.2. It does not show on the list of mobile data use , so only works when wifi connection is possible, otherwise does not open the app .

What a massive step backwards

Along with the introduction of the new class booking system the app update is hopeless. Clearly never tested by an actual user before roll out. What used to be possible with one key press now needs class type, book, add to basket and checkout. By which time the class is full and you’re added to the free-for-all waitlist system. Although, that stress has been removed this morning as the class booking screen is just a page of white so no classes available anyway. I’m wondering who in the Lensbury management team saw this as an upgrade and approved it.

Rubbish

The best

Am an ex Shell chap who has enjoyed Lensbury with my family for many many years. Lucky to live not far from the club and the whole family love the atmosphere and all

Reset password and registration

Reset password function does not work. Manual booking is required for some courses displayed in the app. The course advert shown in the app and website have discrepancies.

Useless

I can’t even login. I remember my password but can’t login and can’t even submit to reset password. So frustrating.

Access issues

An app is pointless if it doesn’t allow you to reset a forgotten password or allow a prompt for user name.

Unstable.

Crashes.

Also very frustrating that you cannot book multiple classes. You have to enter one at a time. Takes ages to load the list of classes and doesn’t always load the full list.
