The Locusts

The Locusts is a grocery list that gets out of your way. Type what you need and it files itself into the right section — produce with produce, dairy with dairy — so the list reads in roughly the order you walk the shop. Tap anywhere on a row to check something off and it slides out of the way. No categories to maintain, no dragging, no setup. THE BASICS • Every item sorted into an aisle for you • The whole row is the tap target, because one hand is usually full • A running count of what is still left to get • Undo, for when you check off the wrong thing • Works offline and catches up when you have signal again FOR PEOPLE WITH AI ASSISTANTS Give an assistant its own token and it can put things on the list for you. Ask it to add oat milk and the item shows up on your phone about a second later. Each token only ever edits the list, never touches the rest of your account, and can be revoked the moment you want it gone. Switch notifications on and your phone will tell you when something new appears. YOUR LIST IS YOURS The list is stored under your account and nobody else can read it. If you want out, delete your account from inside the app and the list, the tokens and the account itself go with it.
