What's New in The Long Way

Version 4.0 Premium members now get up to 5 route alternatives per calculation — more variety, more chances to find a road worth taking. GPX Import — Bring your drive history from other apps into The Long Way. Tap Import GPX in the My Drives tab, pick your file, and your trips appear in your list with start and end locations already filled in. Heading-Aware Routing — When you're moving above 10 mph (16 km/h), routes are now calculated based on the direction you're already traveling. Less turning around, more driving. Any route that starts with a U-turn is clearly labeled so you can decide for yourself. Smarter "Best" Badge — The Best badge now only appears when the top route genuinely stands out. If two routes are close in score, neither gets the label — they're shown as equals. Bug fixes, faster launch, and general performance improvements.

Seems cool!!

I haven’t tried a route yet but it seems super cool, I imported one into google maps and it looked like an awesome drive. My only gripes are that 1) It doesn’t make it clear that you can only look at 3 routes per month for free before refusing to import another until you pay for premium and 2) I was unable to add any cars before 1985. Users should have the option to manually add cars!!
