Only people that actually have experience can use it but still it wasn’t working for me if you have no experience and just started don’t get this

Super helpful! Just wish I could layer voice recordings and trim them. I would also like a metronome or a way to write rhythm.
Easy to use. Simple. A must have for song writers.
This app has a few features without going overboard. They include rhymes and a thesaurus. You can pick the theme or color of the text, and pick the writing mode (line by line or by sections). You can put the songs into different folders to organize your work. This is purely to write songs and record melodies, it doesn’t include the instruments, like if you wanted to add piano. It is super simple and a great way to start songs and ideas. Too much more complex details would make this way too overwhelming for a beginner and if you are looking for something simple or a place to start writing your lyrics, which is as important as the background music and melodies, this is the app for you. I have been using it for almost two years now, and I have written so many songs. Some I create the entire song, some I put into Ai to see what instruments/instrumental music they add, and some I just create melodies for, and some don’t even give me a second thought. I just write those to write those. This is a must need.

Cloud Sync Is Awesome!!!
I was so pleased to discover that when I installed the app on another device, all my songs came flying in. Wow! What a huge time-saver. This is my go-to app for those early stages when crafting the lyrics and melody. A real one-stop shop and so easy to use yet so powerful.

This was just what I needed to have everything on one screen. If you’re ever looking for suggestions, the ability to add inline chords with the lyrics would make it even better.

I like the app but I really want a sign in feature so you don’t lose songs if the app somehow gets deleted. I would also like some way for the app to be password- protected, since songs are very emotionally vulnerable!

Crash bug!
I been getting crashes whenever i have a mouse and/or keyboard connected to my iPad. Other than that, it’s a great app.

Overall I love the app so much it’s easy to use and I love that you can record your voice on it to but I do wish it could help write lyrics for the song

This is such a great app, I just finished writing a song from scratch and the pieces sound great together even from different takes I definitely recommend this app to song writers who want to see their lyrics come to life!!
Simple. Intuitive. Works. This removes the friction in the moment of inspiration.
I’m glad I checked the settings, because that option to write in lines or sections is key- you need both. I haven’t tried copying yet, but if there’s no space between sections when pasted, I would agree with the other reviewer… there should be. As a pure capture tool, nothing more is needed. The other features like finding rhymes are part of a larger writing process, for which there could be a lot more support. For instance, instead of lines and sections being a toggle, they should coexist. Inserting, comments or notes, drag and drop would be some good additions. Also could add a way to tag entries as ideas for the note jar or as a song draft. Going beyond that (mapping, syllable and meter counts, notation or chords, verse template placeholders) would change the scope from being a pure capture tool.

SIMPLE & INTUITIVE
It’s just like notes, but for lyrics! Lovely interface that simple. No fancy gears or buttons to over complicate things, just… lyrics! For the poet’s prose or the singer’s song, this app is wonderful for it all! The only suggestion I have is when copying finished lyrics, I wish it would automatically put space in between sections, instead of squishing them all together. That said, it’s a lovely app!

Needs an import option
Good app for collating lyrics and recording on the go, however would be much better if there was an option to import recordings from other places like voice recorder or files. My band members send me recordings but I can't add them to the app
Needs export or backup feature to Google Drive
