This app doesn’t work as described… The code doesn’t flow. It starts and stops.
Pretty… but pretty rubbish
I paid the $ to remove ads but all the app does is show the time and the “matrix” effect disappear and are gone for longer than they are there.

Just an app to sell pop up blockers
Immediately after installing, the screen is polluted by ads to buy a pop up blocker. Really? Don’t bother installing.
Could have been better
If it was like the one for windows called The Matrix from many years ago then it would have been 5 star and I would purchase. However here characters flow in small portions, no other setting other than changing the clock. Boring.

This app is such a cool effect, you do have to leave the app on if you want it to behave like a screensaver but that’s ok. The only other matrix style app in the App Store is not as good an effect as this. I love Goro Sato ‘s brilliant escape games, they are free and so much fun. This developer deserves recognition and I paid to take the ads off this app as a thank you for all their great work.

Not bad for $1. For free, it’s not worth it, but neat clock if you are interested.
Lies and scam. Doesn’t work! Reported to Apple.
This app blatantly lies about its functionality in my experience. It can’t be set as a wallpaper. It also has zero support. The ONLY way to contact the developer is to message them on Twitter and they don’t reply.
I even screen shared with Apple tech support and they couldn’t get the app to do what it says it can (which is simply - be a wallpaper).
Save your money! I’ve learned to just download a gif, make it into a Live Photo and set it as your background. Google keyword “digital rain matrix gof”

Starts off cool, immediately broken by ad. One wash down then ad. Pay $$ to remove ad? Then 1 screen wash, then stop. No, no, no.

Almost perfect.
Since Digital Rain has left the AppStore, I’ve been looking for a replacement. And this is almost better! As it has the functionality of a clock.
I just wish the code filled the screen more. It falls quite convincingly and looks good, but doesn’t fill the screen on the mini 6 like it does in the screenshots. It’s more like a wave of code washing over the screen.
More granular control of the code would be great! But, it’s still quite charming.
