The Medical Letter User Reviews

Great App

This app works well and the CME tests are faster on the app as opposed to using the website.

Great

One of the best Medical apps online.

App won’t work

This app won’t load and I can’t login to my account. Worthless.

S.Z

I tried to register the application but didn't work properly.

Not optimized for X, XR screens

Good content, but lot of lost screen space on iPhone X

Dysfunctional

App developers, please troubleshoot this app. The screen has a bar right through the middle of the screen that obscures the text and anytime the screen is touched, the text is highlighted for “copy” and when you touch another place on the screen it doesn’t readily disappear. Very distracting. Fix the bugs.

Terrible App, website is much better

App capabilities are minimum compared to the website. Definitely not worth downloading.

Defective-doesn't work

Article don't appear. Can't log in. Useless app.

Used to be ok now is really bad

Used to be able to save an entire issue in PDFs format on my iPad to read it off line, especially when I fly... which I do a lot. The current version you can flag a topic for saving it... Which mean lots of searching and saving each topics in a issue separately... but in addition it does not save tables imbedded in each topic.

Stupid implementation...

Excellent

Outstanding new design, and update to their app. It is an example of how app design should be done. And it makes doing CME easy.

Nice look

I like it a lot more than the previous version.

Best around

The revamp is fantastic. Finally a modern UI! Content still best around.

no CME

Great resourse for a health care practitioner, but the drawback is that there is no CME option on this application. Currently I'm still using the full site just because of CME.

It's really helpful for the study

Update the knowledge from these letters

Valid password rejected on iPhone 4

Valid password is rejected by app when accepted via Safari on the same iPhone 4. (Also, password is accepted from multiple other desktops and laptops.). So what is the value of the app again?

Thanks!

A wonderful improvement on the web access. I like the organization. Text feels like it is in bold; would prefer a font easier on the eyes. I echo the request for adding cme to this. This will make your content much more accessible to me - thanks!

Enterprise users?

I have a subscription to the medical letter online through my medical school. Is there iPhone app access for enterprise users like me?

Important info, weak graphics

The Medical Letter is essential reading for its unbiased, clear recommendations on best choices for medications. I'm thrilled an iPhone/iPad app finally came out.

Graphically it's disappointing. 1) Line spacing (space between lines) is too tight, so it is really unpleasant to read. Switch to PDF works great but should not be necessary, and then you need to move around a lot to read the PDF. 2) Only portrait view on iPad, not horizontal view.

Need better font, wider line spacing , adjustable font (this one is ugly).

But get this app for its content, anyway.

Almost 5 stars

Very good start. It will be a 5* if you add the ability to take the CME quiz via the app.

I've been waiting for this!

As a subscriber for years, and one of many who needlessly suffered with the era of the palm pilot, the answer to my pleas has arrived in the form of this app for iPhone.

It's quick ( reasonably).
Intuitive.
Shared format and physical format with the paper version. And-
The hot links to the references make it a breeze to delve deeper when you have the time or inclination.

Well done.
