Adding a 15 story limit to the app is ridiculous, it is already littered with ads. I will not pay to read more. Uninstalled.

I’ve used the Mirror app for years now and love settling down to see what’s going on in the world BUT after years of using and enjoying your app for free I’m afraid I’m not up for paying a monthly subscription. The 15 free articles A WEEK is a joke, I get through that in a day!!! Absolutely gutted but I’ll be deleting the app now. I thought The Mirror was for ‘the people’ is you’re just trying to screw us over too 🤨

Apparently I can now only read 15 articles a month. Why? I still have to view all the intrusive ads. No thanks. I have deleted the app.

Having just been alerted to the fact that I have reached my weekly limit of “free” access to articles, it is time to consign this app to the bin.

The app has gradually been getting worse with adverts and now, you can only click on 15 articles a week and then you have to pay for more.

What a shame
I’ve always used the Mirror News app. It would be my first choice of news source but I’ve deleted it today because now I can only read 15 articles and then I’m expected to pay or go elsewhere so it’s time to find a new News app.
Wouldn’t bother anymore
Since update introducing premium there are too many articles you have to pay for, also just got a message that I’ve reached my limit of 15 free articles for the week, this is also after multiple ads all over the App. Deleted now, would recommend getting bbc news instead or anything which isn’t trying to rob you

Limited view of articles per week
This app was not the best to start with. What with all the ads trying to read articles without the misfortune of swiping an ad midway though to be then taken to the ads page. The new limit of articles to read each week has made my decision easier to delete this app & find a better free unrestricted news source.

Manchester local news
I am a Premium subscriber to the Mirror, I have been able to access my Manchester local news feed for years, but now cannot load it, what is the problem with this and can it be sorted, I reside in Manchester and it’s nice to see what’s happening in my local area, please fix this.
Absolutely Ruined
This app constantly takes you back to the beginning after finishing an article you’ve just read, so that you then have to scroll all the way back to where you were in the list. Very irritating. I find I now just close the app after a short while and move onto the Sun or Star

Birmingham section does not update. News from 14+ days ago still there and no latest news. Its just blank.
New version is awful
The app really doesn’t seem mobile friendly will story boxes hiding behind each other or falling off the page. Was it even tested before it was released?
Rubbish update
After reading an article now, when you click the back button to return to the main section, it takes you straight to the everything you’ve already read at the beginning and you have to scroll down to where you were! Why do they have to mess around changing things for changing sake?! That’s a rhetorical question …

Terrible you have to be so careful not to click on an advert that takes you off the app and transfers you to Amazon….. just awful
