Very disappointed
Without having the different voice parts, this app is useless. The tracts are very confusing, and I haven’t met anyone that can follow it. If I can help it, I hope to never use this app again after this show. RehearseScore is 100% better.
Log out button
the log out button is way more highlighted than the go to shows button, so stupid. THEN when you click the log out button on accident the stupid app doesn’t remember your account or passwords and you loose ALL your show tracks.
Outstanding Quality and Sevice
We just closed a successful production of HELLO, DOLLY! featuring tracks from the MT Pit. The rehearsal tracks and production tracks accessed through their app are well done, and the staff worked with us to address any of our needs. We will definitely use them again.

Really simple and easy to use. Used it for 10 shows. Works great.
New update doesn’t work
Ever since they updated four days ago the app has been unusable. You now have to make an account but once you do there is no where to put the code in to download the music. I have a cast full of people who cannot access the music now. Hopefully a new update will fix this.

The website itself is very helpful and it works every time. The app however isn’t helping me at all. I am unable to login with my username and password that works perfectly fine on the website. It’s frustrating and it shouldn’t happen.
Fantastic rehearsal app and music theater resource
I've used The MT Pit app more times than I can count. I've used it as an actor, director and producer. As an actor it's been invaluable to me when learning the music for a show and preparing for rehearsals. I love that I can play it in my car or my stereo at home. The new Bluetooth feature is a great bonus. As a director and producer I love that we have this resource for our production team as well as for our actors and musicians. It's been a lifesaver in rehearsals so we don't have to rely on an accompanist, which saves money, but allows our actors to rehearse with the equivalent of the performance tracks. It also ensures my actors have a sure way to rehearse on their own. The app is really easy to use and the sound quality is fantastic. The quality of the tracks themselves are top notch and as good as it gets. The MT Pit uses some of very best musicians to record live orchestral show tracks which, sets them apart from most track rental companies whom rely heavily on midi based tracks. The MT Pit tracks are remarkably better than any competitor source out there. I use this app on every show I work on. Love it.

Great App
This is a great app and an awesome way to have high quality tracks at an affordable price. As a small nonprofit we have yet to find anyone with the same level of quality and value as the MT Pit

Extremely helpful for learning shows but this app really needs to have Bluetooth support
Cool but doesn't work on speaker
My phone speaker won't play the sound so if my friends and I all want to hear stuff for the show I have to get a speaker with an aux (which wouldn't work for people with iPhone 7) or we all have to take turns with head phone which is kinda impractical. Also my director said we can listen to just certain parts of songs like just the alto part or whatever but I can't find that online or on the app.

Sound won't play on internal speakers in iOS 10
TheMT pit has never supported Bluetooth playback which is a problem but now with the latest iOS 10 update it no longer plays over the internal device speaker. This badly needs a update to fix. I'll give it a higher rating when they update the app but we are now over a month and the app is incompatible with iOS 10. Also, there is no support page on their website that I can find. Needs work.

Worked great until I upgraded my phone to iOS10. Now the sound will not work. Very hard to rehearse my show that opens in a few weeks when my tracks are silent.

I got this app to run the music for our Community Theater production of Hello Dolly.
This is a nice app and simple to use, but there are two major issues that make it less than optimal.
1. Once I downloaded the tracks, I was unable to delete any. A few of the numbers are available in several keys, and once we decided which key was best for the actors, I tried to delete the ones we aren't using, but they keep coming back. Now I have to keep skipping the tracks we don't use and it causes unacceptable delays.
2. There is a 3 or 4 second delay between tracks, sometimes you have to segue from one song right to the next, and there. Is an awkward delay.

Haven't been able to use
Can't set up an account. Every time I hit enter it crashes the app.
Awesome!!!
So impressed with this company and this app. The music quality is phenomenal. I would highly recommend it for anyone who can't afford/doesn't have room for an orchestra.
