Very cute app, but needs more mushrooms
Tried looking up wine cap mushroom and pink oyster mushroom and did not appear. This would be super useful if it had more information and more mushrooms.

A word of apology to the developers of this app.
When I first downloaded and tried it I had some glitches that were thought to be the app it’s self , which raised some concerns on my part. After deleting and reloading, it worked great. I recommend it to all that have an interest in mushrooms. Sorry for any worries I may have caused the team that put this all together.

Misinformation
The pictures are not always accurate. Hunters beware.
Terrible
This app is terrible. The UX is about the worst I’ve seen in any app. I have no idea what each “button” (graphic) does. I went through the identification “process” only to discover that there is no identification process. Select some features (cap shape, etc) and then...nothing. No “submit” button, no results, no nothing. Deleted.

Very few mushrooms and a very limited look up or search engine
Why are your photos messed up?!
You have over 20 mushrooms with the same photographs! When switching between species, the photos glitch and revert to the same purple mushroom. This could kill someone. You need to correct this!
Cute like a children's book, hardly useful
It's got a few dozen bios of mushrooms, but not much useful info on them. My 8 year old self would have loved the interface and concept, but for an adult who is trying to find a resourceful app, move on.

Couldn't ask for a better app for mushrooms. All this needs is a way to search by season, and away to click on the picture leading to other pictures of that mushroom. Otherwise perfect. If we can support this and get it growing then this could be a 10 star out of 5 app.

A good start
I've had this for awhile now and it's quite good but sadly incomplete. There are plenty of times when I can't identify the species I've found, and like other reviewers, I notice species are mentioned in the texts but not covered in the identification. It has been getting occasional new species during upgrades but it's still a long way short of a proper reference work. Please hurry up with the upgrades.

I've used this app in the field a few times now when I'm completely stumped by Fungi to great affect. It still needs more though. Half the time the 'commonly confused with' links at the bottom are for mushrooms that don't have description yet. Also on the scrolling identifier the options should have a brief description as to what the pictures are indicating. Great app. Looking forward to future updates
