No more video option showing what music is playing
Since the software update last year, the video option is gone. This would show the name and details of the music being played. Also it keeps popping up the error message "The operation couldn't be completed.

Can no longer get the station
I have been listening to FM96 for decades. When I travel it is fun to play the station on my phone HOWEVER recently the station will not broadcast. It is hit and miss even in Toronto. I have terrific reception of other stations but not this one. Coincidentally this lack of playability has happened since the phone upgrades

Lost 103.1
2 of the 3 stations in the app no longer work - I always listened to 103.1 but it no longer plays, only 96.3 does. I know they are all the same but nostalgia has always had me listening to CFMX.
Get with the times old timers!
This app has always been simplistic and archaic but now it’s straight up not even working. Love the content, hate the ads but would put up with them if the app actually worked!

I really enjoyed listening to your music station but as of last week, I cannot listen anymore even though I’ve downloaded the revised app with audio only. So disappointed! Cannot even listen to your station “live” from your homepage either! What happened??

I depend on this wonderful station all day every day for the music, those special people who curate it for us, and the fact of it being consistently available.

Doesn’t even work
Streamed ok on the first day but never worked again, even after re- downloading. Great radio station but the app is a useless piece of app

It was always glitchy but now does not work at all.
What’s Happening?
I cannot get your station. I’ve tried deleting & reinstalling the app but still nothing. I love your station & play it constantly……I will change the rating as soon as the app is back online
No more playback in IOS 18.
No streams play as they once did. Also, qhere's error when trying to give app permission to send notifications. When I select a station, the button becomes "pause". When I press, again, it shows "play".
Object mapper error
Been using the app with no issue until today when an object mapper error appeared. Im on the most recent iOS and still error appears. Can’t stream music as I usually do.
Frustratingly unstable
Love getting Classical 96.3. App has many bugs:
- tries to play two audio streams at once
- sometimes won’t play at all
- sometimes won’t stop playing - must either reinstall or mute my phone and keep streaming.
That said, works fine again after reinstalling, and worth the effort once or twice a month.

Video not working in full screen
I love to listen to the music every day but I would really love to see the pictures that go along with it in full screen mode. It just seems to be in a small screen. Otherwise everything is great and I love the app and the Music thank you.

Your app used to work very well on all iOS versions. Video is no longer working after you’ve updated your website version. The website version gets interrupted when a new musical item is started. Please fix and your app as well as website version. We missed the enjoyment of listening to The New Classical FM.

Great station, mediocre app
We listen to Classical FM every day and love the station. However, the app is at best mediocre and looks tired, dull, and run down. It doesn’t show anywhere who is playing or performing, either. Better to use their website (a cluttered, confusing site which looks like it was designed in the mid-‘90s) if you want to know the playlist.

Terrible app
I play one Bluetooth speaker. I need to increase/decrease the volume for music to play or else press pause and then play again. Playback stops when I close my phone or move to another app so I have to press play on my save screen again. Zoomer radio will sometimes play instead. Sometimes it will just randomly start playing as well.

New Classical FM app
As of yesterday this app is not connecting. Has something changed? Please fix. We love your station but it is irritating that we can’t connect anymore.
The new classical fm app
Like the other reviewers I find it does not load. At first it was sporadic but now I can get no reception at all on either my iPad or iPhone. Reception got worse when you added the photos. I use it to listen, not to look at pictures. So CBC listen is fitting my needs. Miss listening to Kathleen K and Marilyn L. In evening. I will try reinstalling app at a later date. It is in the cloud. I am not technologically astute. I would give it a 5star if it worked.
