I read the NH primarily through this app, which has gotten better and better over the years. Very user-friendly, particularly when it comes to the mobile experience. Well done!

I have nothing but trouble logging in to read the paper. User friendly is a term that never will be associated with the News Herald app
Old News
This app (and the News Herald) are so slow at updating it’s egregious. The app is very unreliable because half the time it won’t let you log in . Instead it prompts you to buy a subscription, that I already have . Frustrating !

App needs some work
Once you are in the app it’s mostly fine. Here are 2 suggestions:
1. At the top it should say your name or some indication that you are either logged in or out.
2. The sports scores are unreadable in the app. They all run together.

When I first subscribed I could see the paper and read what I wanted! That’s gone! Cancelling!
No digital version available?
I had this app so I could easily access my subscription to the digital copy of the paper. What happened to it?

Terrible, can’t read the paper just keeps trying to get me to register with some other paper. I will cancel the News-Herald

What happened to the digital replication of the Lake County News Herald. I called support and spoke with someone from another country after waiting 15 minutes. He kept talking over me. He was hard to understand and you could tell he was reading from a script. He had no idea what I was talking about. He said he would check with a IT specialist. I will stop my subscription. The news on this app can be gotten from other news sites for free!

Spelling issue
We cannot believe that your computers at the News-Herald, don’t have spell check on them. We like to have the children read the newspaper, so they can learn to read better and want to read. But your newspaper will run two, three sometimes four words together to make it look like ONE word. We ask WHY do you let a well known newspaper get sloppy? Please fix your issues so not only the children we are trying to teach, but also the adults go back to reading the newspaper. Thank you

Like the previous layout better.
I can’t tell whether I’m just in the non-paid portion of the app or the paid portion. I like the old newspaper layout.
OMG Ads everywhere!
I went through the obituary section. There had to be more ads for my last product search than obituaries. I ended my product search why are you annoying the hell out of me with ad after ad after ad. Might be time to delete the annoying N-H app.
Ads are gross and sometimes inappropriate
Like the ability to increase text size. Ads have gross photos of weird things and sometimes inappropriate.
Very little local news
The only reason I keep the app is for the obits.
Lack of multi function
Can’t listen to music on my device and read at same time.
