Has stopped working fully

The screen freezes for 30 seconds rather than counting down the timer, in recent iOS versions.

I loved this app and used to play along with enthusiasm (thanks to Carol Vorderman and Rachel Riley) but since buying an iPhone 13 this app has become unworkable ☹️
