The Old Country: Crime Cases

Step into the shadows of 1920s America and take your place behind the investigator’s desk. The Old Country: Crime Cases is a narrative detective game built around careful observation and logical deduction. Each case presents a self-contained mystery through police files, witness statements, photographs, telegrams, maps, timelines, and physical evidence. Read every document. Compare times and locations. Challenge suspicious testimony with the right piece of evidence. When you believe you understand what happened, name the culprit and reconstruct the crime. INVESTIGATE AT YOUR OWN PACE There are no action sequences and no time pressure. Every case rewards attention, memory, and clear reasoning. Review the archive whenever you need to and follow the connections across the investigation board. BUILD A COMPLETE THEORY Finding a lie does not automatically reveal the killer. A witness may hide a secret without committing the crime. Prove contradictions, establish motives, and separate misleading details from facts that can be verified. EXPLORE A STYLIZED CRIME ARCHIVE • Examine detailed evidence and period documents • Interview suspects and challenge their statements • Use an interactive map and timeline to connect discoveries • Solve atmospheric cases inspired by the Prohibition era • Unlock Game Center achievements for completed investigations • Keep your progress synchronized with iCloud • Play in English or Czech, based on your device language SEASON ONE: PROHIBITION Investigate ten cases set across American cities shaped by hidden bars, bootleg liquor, rival gangs, and corrupt officials. Cases unlock as you progress, while the optional Complete Season One purchase provides immediate access to every Season One investigation. More investigations and new collections are planned for the case archive. Every statement matters. Every timeline leaves a trace. Every accusation must be proven.
