Game-ending glitch
One of the torches needed for the infinite hallway disappeared from my inventory.
This game was fine, but had a LOT of touchscreen sensitivity issues which are not great in a hidden object game. But then a necessary item disappeared from my inventory at nearly the end of the game! I don’t want to replay from the beginning. I’m so disappointed.
I looked around all of the screens to see if it was hidden somewhere else, and watched a video walkthrough as well. I definitely found all the torches as they’re not in the locations shown in the walkthrough anymore. And I built the one I needed to build. But one has vanished and that means I can’t complete a game I purchased. Not a great feeling. I loved True Fear, which was my first BigFish game, and this seriously makes me think twice before paying for another.

Had to write a review for this title!
Taking full advantage of Big Fish’s year-end sale, I’ve had the past few weeks to catch up on BF’s more recent titles available on the iPad. At this point, I’ve been a bit jaded playing these HOGs. But “the Other Side” has reinvigorated my thirst! Where BF titles stuck along the same mix of puzzles, storytelling & difficulty, TOS Perfected the formula. Slightly more difficult, the puzzles are well placed, both pace-wise & for the story itself. (ie. Puzzles weren’t just randomly tossed in.) Alawar always had better HOGs under the Big Fish banner, so I shouldn’t be surprised, but this is one HOG I have to recommend.
My sole complaint: video sequences end mid-sentence. It seems to occur a second or two (mid-sentence) earlier than it’s supposed to. Not sure if it’s a bug or some OS issue though.

Just started and enjoying the storyline
Original idea, nice graphics. Only negative so far is loading time between scenes.

I have played this bleeping game all the way to where I'm trying to get the 5 torches lit for the elders and what a waste! I got my torches lit but I needed a hint on what to do next and it told me a pick axe head was stuck in the wall. Yeah right, that would be the pick axe in my inventory that I just used!!!!

Loved this game!
I didn't find one thing to complain about. This is by far one of my favorite HOPA games. Awesome game. I enjoyed it so much, thank you to the alaware team.
The Other Side - definitely a good side!
Original storyline, great artwork and a snarky Cheshire Cat as a companion. What's not to love? Boris is quite opinionated as is the diary and hint system. Gotta love this game!
