What's New in The Paddock App 3.0

Find Ball 3.0 moves beyond simple recommendations. We’ve rebuilt our logic from the pindeck up to treat your bowling ball like a high-performance vehicle. Version 3.0 synchronizes your Bowler DNA with the Lane Environment. Key Updates: Precision Core Mapping: Our new engine treats RG as your transmission and Differential as your traction control. The app now calculates the ideal core strength based on the "window of opportunity" dictated by pattern length. Surface Prep: Gone are the days of just "Dull" or "Shiny." Find Ball 3.0 provides specific grit-sequence recommendations—including Compound, Polish, and Slip Agents—based on volume (mL) and pattern buff length. Adaptive Layout Logic: Introducing Dynamic Angle Sums. The app now suggests Dual Angle layouts that shift based on your Axis Tilt and RPM, ensuring the ball transitions exactly when the oil ends. Enhanced Pin-to-PAP Customization: We’ve introduced Benchmark Pin-to-PAP distances. These are automatically modified by pattern volume and ratio to ensure you get the perfect amount of flare displacement for every condition. The "Safety Override" System: Are you a high-tilt spinner or a low-tilt thumper? Version 3.0 detects extreme PAP (Positive Axis Point) measurements and applies automatic safety offsets to your layout, preventing core inversion and ensuring stable axis migration. Pattern "Buff" Integration: For the first time, the app factors in Buff Length to determine how "jumpy" or "smooth" your surface and layout needs to be to navigate the transition from oil to dry. Technical Refinements: Refined Bowler DNA Profiles: Improved "Matched," "Dominant," and "Slightly Dominant" balance categories. Intermediate Differential Logic: Specialized "Torque" recommendations for Asymmetrical cores based on oil depth. Updated Pattern Database: Optimized for modern high-volume and high-ratio "house" conditions.

Needs improving

It would be nice to enter in numbers in the conversion feature and change the values to instantly see differences without having to reset. Same for creating a layout.
Also. What happened to being able to enter in the undrilled numbers in a ball to see after drilling numbers.

Won’t save balls in My Bag

Like the analysis tools and information provided, however it will not save bowling ball entries in My Bag.

Can use improvements

The app has a good idea behind it but can use some improvements. One is that you let the user save a layout, maybe have it where we can load that layout in your analysis section? Maybe add bowling ball cover stock as an option as that matters and core matters too? And maybe one where a user can enter the bowling balls RG and Diff to know how that ball will naturally react? Just thoughts to improve for sure.

Not helpful at all

So it only lets you choose from one ball and doesn’t let you completely design how you want the ball to react. Not the best in any way for drillers.

Perfect for league and tournament bowlers

This will be more than useful for determine the proper layout and ball reaction I need for tournaments. It also will guide me in filling gaps that I have. Thanks for adding the ability to keep my ball specs handy.
