The Painting Inside

Valle dell’Aniene, Anticoli Corrado (Rome), in the late 1920s. The life of the young farm girl Ersilia changes when she meets Vittorio, one of the artists who frequented the village during those years. The film is interactive: viewers can choose how the story continues. The decisions made during the viewing allow them to discover the different possible destinies of Ersilia, an emblem of the women of Anticoli in her time, who were not only a source of inspiration but true protagonists of history and art history. The interactive film includes the following functions, accessible via the navigation bar: subtitles in Italian and English, the option to go back and make different choices, and the ability to restart the experience at any moment.
