Want to still love it but can’t
I have used this app for a few years and loved it. Early release books, chats with authors and readers. Was everything I wanted. But recently every book I try to get is ‘purchase failed’ and I have been unable to read anything for over 2 months. Deleted app 😔
Used to be fantastic
This used to be the best app for reading new books but I’m now deleting it because recently I’ve been unable to sign in and prior to that I would receive ‘purchase failed’ when trying to reserve a place.
Deterioration since new management
Really really poor experience since the new ownership and management changes. Books don’t load or worse disappear. New staves have appeared with chapters in wrong order. i feel sorry for the poor authors
Free access to great book
This is a great app that gives access to a wide variety of books, some even before they hit the bookshops. I have gone down a star because I think there is some room for improvement. Two things that I’d really like to see: 1. Syncing across different devices, 2. The ability to delete books from my bookshelf when I have read them. With those to additions this app would be amazing.

Delete option?
I love this app and use it a lot but I would really like an option to delete books that I have read or am not enjoying.

Latest update seems to have cut off my page numbers though?! I have an iPhone SE (2020) and it used to display perfectly but now I can’t make out the page numbers under the purple progress bar!

Since update
Since the update 18 hours ago it won’t let me download any books! 🙁
Causing me hassle!
I love the books on Pigeonhole and have been using it for about a year now but lately the app just keeps on showing me a blank page. The only answer seems to be to delete the app, reload it and update my bookshelf. While this works it’s more than a little annoying to have to do it every day!
Problem!
I’ve enjoyed Pigeonhole for several years. However when I opened the Pigeonhole app this morning expecting it to go straight to my place in The House it just showed a completely blank page. I have tried several times with the same result which is most annoying. Can this please be remedied.

Great app and great idea! Read loads of brilliant books I wouldn’t have necessarily picked up. App works really well most of the time- highly recommend
Love it but
I think pigeonhole is a great idea and it’s fantastic to get the privilege of reading wonderful books early. The only downside is the glitches which is why the app isn’t getting 5*. I am currently reading The Foundling and there is an option for the audio (which is superbly narrated) as well; unfortunately the audio is hard to listen to as it doesn’t begin at the beginning of the chapter as it should do. It also doesn’t continue to play with screen off as it says it should. I’m sure these issues will be ironed out with time and I am still very much enjoying using the app.

Type size
Would it be possible to be able to increase the print size on Pigeonhole’s app. I know I have the choice of three and also a choice of typefaces but I am struggling with the largest available Thank you
These lads are brilliant. Nothing too much trouble. My eyes are old on a par with rest of me and they very kindly increased the available font size for me twice. 5 well deserved stars and a big thank you.

I am wondering how I can listen to these books. I have been told I tap on the musical note and audio will appear, but when I do this there is no option for audio. In fact Audio is not mentioned, just the banner appears giving options in font size. I'm reading 'The Foundling' and I know from others that audio should be an option. I am reading on the Pigeonhole app for I pad. Thank you.

Love this app!
I thought I’d give this a try and absolutely love it. Have read some fantastic books and it’s great they are broken down into daily readable segments or you can catch up. You can interact with the author and fellow readers as you go along. Please let me know if I can sync the app between my iPhone and iPad. Highly recommend.

Great way to discover new authors, and talk to them about their books. Perfect for my morning commute, or to wind down with at the end of the day.
Wanted so much for it to work
This didn't work for me, I signed up via email and then went on a chose a book, nothing was ever delivered despite trying a couple of times, so I am going to give up and delete it. The other annoying thing is after sign up I can't find anywhere to change the topics I chose, and there is no search method other than scrolling through hundreds of books

Amended review - now working
I downloaded this app a few months back seemed to have signed up and in ok. However when I click on profile it just shows as ‘null’ I can see the books to pick from but the only thing I can get are extracts. I’ve even tried creating a private book group and still no luck. It’s very frustrating hence the 1 star. It’s also very disappointing as this has lots of potential and I know it does work for lots of people so I am assuming it’s something to do with the iPhone version. I think I will probably end up deleting the app soon as there is no point in having an app that doesn’t work it only serves to tease me. Edited to add I tried deleting the app and reinstalling and this seems to have worked so I have increased my star rating to 4 * and have now successfully downloaded some books. So anyone having problems it’s worth a try.

Good idea, but...
Fundamental issues in the app. The first book I wanted to join, Heart of Darkness, is Live and supposedly free, but every time I try and join it tells me "Purchase Failed". I've even tried reinstalling but no luck.
