As soon as you download this app, when you open it says it’s no longer supported and to download a different app. If they’re not going to support this app, it should be removed, or at least post a warning in the description.

Listen | My Top Podcast Player In 2022
At first blush, Listen’s Podcast App appeared to me to be just another Podcast Player in an already crowded field.
What set it apart for me was it’s silky smooth navigation, “NO ADDS”, customization tools for Podcast Library alphabetized order and arrangement which is important to a tinkerer like myself.
I’d like to see the following features appear in future versioning updates though:
1. Repeat button, for playback
2. Larger Picture of podcast art | logo on player playback screen
3. Would like to see a setting that allows
“My Library” to appear first on App launch as those are the Podcasts I want to get to upon start up.
4. Last but certainly not least:
“APPLE CARPLAY Integration”, please add as soon as possible in near future updates.
Other than above tweak requests, Listen is a superb Podcast playing app…

Pisses me off when I get a new app and someone asked me are you enjoying your app? Particularly when I’ve only used it a few times. I will give you a low rating every time when you do that
Annoying from the start
I start up the app for the first time and it asks me for my interests. I already know what podcasts I listen to, and I don't want to find new ones. It won't let me skip that question, though, insisting that I select at least one interest.
If that's how annoying the app creators allow this app to be from the beginning, it's obviously not going to be the app for me.

Not understanding
I can’t even get past the introduction. I don’t have anything to import as I already deleted the Apple podcast app from my phone because of malfunctioning. This new app Listen, it won’t allow me to search for podcasts which is super frustrating as I’m looking for a new app that works properly
Unable to fetch categories
The app seems polished and well put together, but I can’t get passed onboarding it just hangs then gives an error “Could not fetch categories, please try again”. I can’t skip this step either, so I can’t use the app
Never worked.
Keep asking me to choose categories but then got an error message that it had no categories! Never got past that page.
Won’t load subscribed podcasts or saved data
This app is one star at best. I’ve subscribed to a series of podcasts and most of the time when I start the app, it’s empty. None of my subscriptions are saved. It’s an empty app. Don’t bother with this one.

This is my last and final podcast app.
The app is perfection, plain and simple. Love that I have something separate from my music. Easy to navigate, never crashes, just nice to have something stable in life lol
Good for the most part
A few issues it good for the most part. Easier to keep up with podcast than on the iTunes app. However if you switch apps on your phone, and then close the other one out, the podcast does not automatically resume the way other podcast apps do. Another thing is it’s hard to get to the podcast Paige if you’re on the episode page

Stop censoring Alex Jones
I thought it was only the big corporations and big tech censoring Infowars / Alex Jones, but apparently even the little apps are taking part in the draconian censorship. Shame on you guys. Every human has a right to be heard. Please stop stifling free speech, it is a fundamental human right.
Much Better Than It’s Successor
I don’t know why this project was abandoned. It’s so much better designed than its successor “Social Podcasts” or whatever it’s called. I love the UX, it’s the best looking app for podcasts. So minimal and beautiful. Just thought this should be said since it’s a tragedy that the devs are working on a different app. It’s much worse.

Promising
Interface is great & good features. Love the absence of spammy ads. The only downfall is that some podcasts come in way later than other apps & some podcasts not available. If the pace can pick up on new episodes, this could be 5 star.
Completely fooled by this!!
I downloaded this app, and was completely and refreshingly surprised to find that this is THE PERFECT podcast app! Only to find (via a message in the app) that the creators are making this app OBSOLETE and will no longer be making updates and improvements. Instead, they want you to download their “social media” podcast app. (Insert here: eye roll, gag, revulsion, etc.) If I wanted “social media”, I would have looked for a social media app. Some people really just want a podcast app. What an incredible disappointment.
