Readability issues hamper otherwise fun game
The font choice is unfortunate. It really hampers the game to read a very unpleasant font in yellow on tan…just why?

Monty Python humor + deranged murdering + surprising poignancy
This game was feckin hilarious but also quite crude if that’s not your thing. Great puzzles, killer dialogue, lots of historical references for the attentive player. Had some insight on the nature of power underneath all the fart jokes

Brilliant puzzle game.
This game presents great puzzles and requires critical thinking. The use of Medieval and Renaissance art and music as design elements raise it above most other puzzle games. The Terry Gilliam-esque animations
are wonderfully executed. Some of the dialogue is a little salty, so it’s not for kids.
I really enjoyed this as much as the developer’s other game. I hope he makes more.

Petit point and click vraiment sympathique avec une histoire et des graphismes particulièrement originaux.

Hilarious…..worth it for the metrognome alone 😂😂😂 very original with great sense of humour and some of the best puzzles I’ve encountered playing adventure games, if publishers did call the game too niche…. More fool them, an outstanding and enjoyable game by a very talented developer.

For one who can remember Python this is gold. Had to cheat with some quests, (those old enough to remember Python have ever diminishing brain cells), but dialogue well worth it.

Comme la plupart des tableaux et des musiques présenter dans ce jeu il s’agit d’un petit chef-d’œuvre vidéo ludique. Je suis sûrQu’il pourrait porter le tampon : « approuvé par Terry Gilliam » !Les énigmes sont parfois un peu difficile mais quel plaisir d’en trouver la solution. La fin du jeu lorsque l’on a tué personne en route et particulièrement gratifiante !

Longer than the Four Last Things. Also I only needed the walk through once with the cavalary. Brilliant humour combined with lots of lovely renaissance art. Haven’t enjoyed a game this much since Bertram Fiddle. My kind of ‘niche’.

Another trip into a madman’s world
Loved every minute of this glorious game, like its predecessor Four Last Things, the game takes you into its nightmare realms to solve puzzles and be entertained by hosts of both visual and spoken jokes, bad taste? Of course it is, and so was that time in history. Puzzles are hard enough to be entertaining but what shines out above all is the fantastic way the gross and the beautiful are combined to form this nightmare trip of a game. I for one can not wait to return to this fantastically imaginative world.
