No pause - needs a pause function

This is a great game but it’s impossible to play to the end due to chronic pain. Add a pause function please then I can play. I was playing for a long time as I am good with word puzzles but had to stop. If this is added I will review my star rating. Thank you. Also - it’s impossible to switch game modes. It was stuck in the five minute limit. Please can you make it clearer and make this function easier? Thank you.
